Part of the reason I didn't in this case is because in Solaris this setup is unnecessary. I believe there is a follow path lop and the camera has a look at option on it.
They released Houdini 19.5 and I wonder why they don't create a built-in target, like other 3d packages! If you need to roll the camera view in the Look-At constraint system, then you will need some changes to the constraint... You know, it wastes our time compared to other 3d DCCs. In 3dsmax (ALT + LMB), you can start tumbling each viewport (Top, Left, Front...) and change from the same POV to an orthographic view, and this is awesome...
There use to be a look at option on the camera and a follow path but they removed it. The camera lop in Solaris has a lookat option. I do agree that it is kind of ridiculous that they don't have it on the camera
Really needed this, thanks! So different from maya! Constraints network inside camera! Unbelievable!
this is amazing. thank you
Thank You very much!
Is this the best way to do it in Solaris too? Maybe do the camera animation in SOPs then import the cam into LOPs?
The lops camera actually has a look at property on it. Additionally there is a follow path constraint lop as well
@@InsideTheMindSpace Hi Inside, you said is good, but how to do it?
I rotate most of the works, but this way is different and effective. thanks !
Whatever it takes to get the desired result
Hi Inside, I would like to ask how to use Karma to render this turn table.Thank you so much!
wow thank you so much bro
The second input of the Constraint Path node already has the Look At option, don't need to add another node there =)
Hi man, great video I wonder if it possible for you in this kinds of video to also touch on how to do stuff like these in Solaris as well.

How can we combine this path follow with camera shake? it seems to lock the camera this way. thanks!

followed your steps with spline converted into a bezier curve, no movement :(
thank you very much!
