the entire point of the ride is to make you feel like you will fall out. There is a guard in between your legs that makes it physically impossible for you to fall out no matter what.
Guys there’s a cage holding you in. The cage is perfectly fine and perfectly safe. Just don’t ride this either way because the ride is absolute garbage

When I rode it yesterday (for the first time) the person who loads the trains and pulls the cages down was just talking to her friend and laughing. My friend and I were very close to the lift hill when she finally realized that she had to do her job. Meanwhile I was screaming and freaking out because I thought the ride was going to start without her pulling the cage down on us lol but it was a fun ride tho!
I've been on a ridiculous amount of coasters in my life and this is bar none the worst coaster I've ever had the displeasure of riding. It has zero redeeming qualities.

I had never been on any roller coasters before and this is the first one that I went on and OMG I couldn't hang on. The handles were so sweaty and slippery and I felt like I was going to fall out the back of the cage.
I went there last year around may, and when I went on this ride with my friends (Sam and Chris) I thought I was gonna slip off because I'm too skinny ( I'm 14 and weigh 98 pounds...) They kept laughing the whole day because I almost cried... What do you expect, I'm a girl. 🤷🏽♀️
Went on this yesterday for the first time. Seems very unsafe, if you let go with your hands and your feet slip (not that they would), you could fall right out of the bottom. It boggles your head around a lot too. Not one of my favourites at the park.
Mystique Serenity Well, even if it's a cage, there's nothing that goes under your feet! If you look at 0:20, you'll see how your feet could go out if you stepped off the ladder, even with the cage down. If you combine this with letting go, you're a gonner XD
Fun fact: this is the 2nd slowest ride in the park at 25 MPH, the slowest being taxi jam at under 12 MPH and the 3rd slowest being the silver streak at 27 MPH.
This is probably the worst ride there (in my opinion). I swear if I didn't hold onto those stupid bar things I would just fall out of the cage. Sure you put your feet on the steps but there wasn't even a bottom of the cage so if you let go of the bars and took your feet of the steps you would literally fall out.
I have to say when Paramount left and they had to change the names of the rides this name change made the most sense in my opinion. Top Gun (Flight Deck)? Eh, I guess it works, maybe. I really didn't see the whole point of changing one word from "Great" Canadian Minebuster to "Mighty" Canadian Minebuster. But Tomb Raider to Time Warp? Given the way the track is laid out, this one definitely works.
All the people complaining about flying out the back. Just hold onto the bars and keep your feet on the steps. My shoes gripped those steps and I was find.
this is defiantly i good ride! I've been on it quite a few times, but for some reason this ride just feels unsafe. when u go upside down you have to hold on tight or u will fall back and hit the cage. and if ur tiny like me u will have a fear of slipping through
I'll give some tips if you first go on this ride. I recommend going on the far right side as it hurts your head the least and hold the handle bars in front of you at all times if you feel like falling off. tbh i like that feeling when you feel like falling off

Shouldn't they just get rid of it and replace it with a Vekoma Stingray coaster? Much safer, smoother and better. I think it's even more compact than a Zamperla Volare.
This was my favorite ride about 10 years ago when it was called Tomb Raider, but it seems everyone hates it because it's too rough? Strange, I don't remember being a particularly tough 13 year old at the time but judging by audience reception I guess I had the fortitude of a grizzled biker. You are right about flip-flops though, you'll be leaving barefoot.
I think the issue is this ride wasn’t designed to go fast.. it should have just been a slow leisurely ride without all the upside downs and twists.. maybe change the actual coaster carts to one where you’re sitting down and the ride is just hanging type coaster if that makes any sense?
Didn't hurt my back, but man this thing will hurt your neck or head. The last turn from what I remember, I whacked my head against the side cushions next to your head. Came off with a headache.

If you suffer from migraine headaches, avoid the Vortex, Flight deck and The warp. I call those rides " the head bangers".
