I like that they used the anime art style. Very smart considering who they are advertising too. I'm not sure if it is true anime or not since I'm not sure if Disney or a Japanese animation studio did the animation. Hell, if Disney did it, I give them even more props for going out of their way to emulate the art style.

Let me tell you, it’s amazing how popular Disney is in Japan. When I went to Tokyo DisneySea back in 2019 on Halloween, there where a lot of people dressed up (the park had lifted the ban on character costumes earlier that year). The first two costumes I noticed as we walked in were two girls, one was dressed as Lightning McQueen and the other one was dressed as Cruz Ramirez (complete with blue Dinoco markings).
But the the highlights where two girls dressed as Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, two people dressed as Captain Hook and Mr. Smee (their costumes were so well done that I thought they were characters for a moment), a guy dressed as Cruella De Vil (possibly a model who was doing a photoshoot for an agency as my mom told me that there was a photographer with him), and the best one was a guy dressed as Jafar.

...I ended up riding with ballroom dress Belle on Splash Mountain. Officially my most surreal Disneyland memory.
