2:25 No, you will not be able to trade with all players, just the players that made the same crossave account method. That means not being able to trade with other players that are native from the console your account originally was unless they did the same crossave method
Actually, it's not just with players that also have a crossave account. My friend playing on PS5 has made his account crossplay, and I can trade with him even tho my account is ONLY Steam on PC. So in that case specifically : PS5 crossave accounts can trade with other crossave accounts, they can also trade with non-crossave PC accounts, but not with non crossave PS5 accounts.

another way to sell stuff even tho u get less platinum is to go to the want to buy section of the part you are selling and selling it to the highest offer which sometimes can be the same as listing it with the lowest price the benefits of doing it this way is you dont need to make an account, you dont need to remember to keep switching between invis and online if you do have an account, and lastly its quicker to sell and its sometimes the only way to sell things with low demand
That's true, I found if you have lots of things to sell it's easier to just make an account and go for it. Over time the few extra plat you make from each trade really adds up.

I think the best way to make platinum in early game would be to grind cetus actually no? Like Augur mods are always needed, you may get a relic or two, trade the Gems n´ such and additionally get standing, progressing the game without being hung up on farming plat. Equal thing goes for Fortuna, Deimos probably being the best one.
Yeah bounties are pretty good actually, you might be right. Quite a few people have suggested this, and my only argument against that is that they're quite boring and tedious, and not having access too the higher level bounties isn't ideal. If you're up for the grind though, I'd agree, it is a good plat making method.
I didn;t want to make an market account yet so i'm just browsing for what i have, go to buyers tab and use their sell button where i can copy that message and type in game in chat. Is not the best price, sure, but it is the fastest sell. But it's not that convenient really, would had been better if that market would had been directly in game and buy/sell would had been instant without having to chat and wait for reply, make party, go to dojo then trade and whatnot. Let alone that you have a limited trades which kind of sucks. That way you would have no limit or a higher limit for manual trades and have this more narrow limit for market listings, so sales. Buying i presume should be without limit.
So when comes to warframe parts for example, do you sell the blueprints to the parts or do you build the parts and sell the built part? Or is it possible to even make the warframe entirely and sell the warframe as a whole too?
The problem I have is higher mastery players that I have encountered rip me off with how much plat they want to pay me and low master players have no plat at all
Warframe market really is amazing. Even if you dont use it to buy, at least use it to proce check before you buy. Theres a lot of scammers in trade chat.
For clarity reasons, your account on warframemarket should be the same as your warframe account right? But I want to use the platinum to change my account name
Hey, I'm very very new and just got to Deimos and my weapons (with the exception of melee) doesn't seem to be doing even half decent damage (takes around 2 mags to kill an enemy), I also tried mixing and matching mods but no difference, any advice? I use Mesa Prime and Mag.
Mods are the key, the deimos enemies are weak to fire damage, so modding for that is pretty good, but just in general increasing the strength of your mods by upgrading them and adding new ones in is particularly good, especially for your weapons. I'd also strongly recommend corrupted mods, which I don't currently have a guide for but maybe I can make one if you're interested. You can get them from deimos vaults, there's probably other guides online somewhere :)
Good stuff but for the love of god people need to stop this -1 thing on wf market, please just look at the lowest price and copy it if you're ok with it or simply put something a bit higher, most of the time the order at the top is already sold or the player is offline, stop lowering prices for no reason
Well, I'm just trying to create a consistent method of acquiring platinum for new players, and while that's logistically correct, I find that lowest offers typically get sold pretty quickly so always doing that is never going to be that bad in terms of overall platinum gain to time efficiency for selling. Just attempting to keep it simple.
@@Cloysto I understand that, but if 10 people apply this method to sell the same thing, a part that usually costs 15 plats could go to 5 plats for example which is the same thing as scamming noobies since it would take 3 parts to make the same amount of plat at that point. As a new player, the amount of tradable loot you have is pretty scarce and is much more important to craft stuff for mastery, not to mention the limited amount of trades new players have.
Well I don't think you factor into account that typical prime items are going to be fairly popular to buy/sell, when I made this video it only took me around ~30 seconds from listing to have the item sold. So unless all 10 of those people attempt to list the item one after another in a very quick timespan, it's unlikely that this occurs. Now if it's a less popular item that may not sell as quickly, this could happen.
@@Khalys.the -1 is sometimes the only way to get people to buy stuff from you early on. If there are 20 people selling a prime part for 15 plat and you post yours for 15, you’ll be drowned out by all the other people with higher quantities and higher rep. It could take hours or even days in some cases to sell that part. New players don’t want to wait that long. Selling it for 1 under cuts into your profit a tiny bit but pretty much guarantees you’ll sell the item in a matter of minutes. The price always corrects itself over time anyway so it’s really not a big deal. If it really bothers you that a part “worth” 15 plat is being sold for 10 at the moment, just put yours up for 15 and it’ll sell once the price naturally corrects in a few days.
There are also people who literally set up bots to profit off of this exact situation. Any time an item is being sold for a certain percentage less than its standard market value, they’ll immediately buy it and resell it for market value. The new player sells their item quick, the scalper gets a cheap item to resell over time, and the market gets corrected. It’s a perfectly fine system.

1st. this is not early game, i played for around 65ish hours and i think i only got 1 part to sell that was worth more than like 4 plat, the moment you need to farm for 50 hours to get 100 plat its not possible to consider it an "early game" strat 2nd. the fact that you're kind of forced to join a clan to get trade cuz you need access to the dojo where 99% of the playerbase wants to trade is insane to me, as a truly solo player i'm not joining a useless clan because i need to trade for plat 3rd. plat its very much the base of the game considering that otherwise the game gets to a point where you can barely progress, so you either spend real money or 500 hours in game, and both are extremely awful options 4th. I got told that i could sell mods... i've seen maxed out mods going for 2 plat and in 65ish hours (and in the way i play mind you) i NEVER even had a 1 maxed out mod, imaging farming 100 hours to get 1 specific mod that you don't need but its a mod that sells quickly IF maxed out after 200 hours of playtime that will get you probably between 20 and 30 plat I like the base of the game, the movement, shooting, the many weapons and the variants, the build possibilities, the customization of the frames but... the fact its one of those games that you need to dedicate your life to pushes me away, i played in total between accounts probably around 100 hours and every time i see a video it makes me want to play but all the aforementioned points just make me not want to play anymore.
1. Unfortunately this is one of two methods you can utilize early game to make platinum. Of the two, this is the simplest to understand and execute. You may be doing it wrong, I'd suggest two things - Upgrade your relics to the radiant version. Gold parts typically are worth 8+ platinum each. - Play void fissures in squads, especially with other people who also have radiant relics. Increases your odds of getting a gold part to 36% per run. 2. I don't see why this is a big deal. You're also allowed to trade in maroos bazaar or enter other player's dojos instead. Joining a clan is a fundamental necessity for playing the game for your average player. 3. I myself have made a MR0 account where I spent 0 plat and progressed through the entire game. Yes platinum is nice but it's not required. It becomes easier to make platinum the further you progress. 4. Yes, you can sell mods. No, you can't sell *all* mods. You can sell base augment mods from syndicates for ~10p for example. If you get a primed mod from baro, that can sell for upwards of 50p+ per. Maxed out mods can easily double the price, as you're effectively selling people credits and endo. Yes, the game is a grind. Warframe is one of the best games ever just on the fact alone that you have the ability to earn platinum without buying it. If you don't think it's good, I implore you to try playing The First Descendant instead. It's Warframe but you literally have to pay if you want anything. Warframe is a learning curve, you're going to figure out how to do things with enough time, it's effectively an MMO. If you play any other MMO (like WOW for example), 100 hours is absolutely nothing. If you want more help come join my discord I can answer any questions you have about making platinum. You may have to put in some serious work to get to a point where you can make lots of platinum though.
Really can't be bothered to get a PC account for the game just for trading, and whatever steps I need to do to trade on PS4 seems confusing. Really desperate for Plat tho, running out of inventory space.
doing trading is super boring, u could be at the relay posting your "ads" all day long and on warframe market (cut throat prices because most will try to price their items lower than the lowest ATM.) Especially when you just started out in the game, you should be out there blowing stuff into spare parts and enjoying the game content, not sitting at a desk selling wares all day long. Warframe is a nice game, and IMO, more or less you can support them a little here and there and make your life easier. DE dangle 50% and 70% discount on plat purchase every now and then, that is the best time to buy some plats, if you are just buying frame(20plat) and weapon (20plat) supercharger and 3xforma bundle(35 plat), it could last you a long time, these items are the most important for game progression. and also frame slot expansion(20plat), weapon x2 slot expansion (12plat). Rule of the thumb is just to mod the good weapons, don't go and mod every damn weapon. When you are MR20ish, thats when you can start doing some trading to earn some plat.
Well, not everyone has money to spend on the game unfortunately, and if you're a free to play player looking to get more warframe/weapon slots or even get some color palettes or cosmetics, I think this is one of the best methods you can get some plat for free. I also think it's less about necessity and more about convenience of being able to have some of the premium currency to buy things you just want to get for fun.
I feel like the only way to minimize the down time of waiting for trades is to have a crap ton of items that are worthy of trading up on your account. But the amount of grind is insane!
well it might not be priced correctly, or the items you're attempting to sell could be unpopular. Depends on a lot of factors, I could try to help you if you wanna join my discord :)
Its the steam community market all over again! Thx for the advice but simply buying plat when you get a discount is easier. I did pretty much the same thing back when i played TF2 and i dont need a repeat.
@@BigJoeMufferaw784riven trading is the easiest way once you have a few hundred plat. When I used to grind riven trading, I could make upwards of 2k plat a week. It’s all just about game knowledge. Scour trade chat for people selling rivens for popular weapons cheaper than you think you could sell it. Buy it from them and post it on warframe market for a little more. Rivens take a lot longer to sell since they’re more niche, but you can sometimes make 100-200 plat flipping a single riven. You just have to know what to look for.
@@BigJoeMufferaw784 I know a guy who made more then 6k plat on warframe market without spending a single dollar on the game. It was back when edilon hunting was THE end game thing and he got enough plat from running edilons to buy a bunch of arcane energize and flip them by upgrading them to higher levels. Arcane energize back then was even more expensive then it is now and its still pricey. I'm not sure how much plat he ended up with, but i know it was over 10k plat and again he has never spent any money on the game ever. If you're really serious about making plat flipping items on the market is one of the quickest ways to do it and if your MR is up there you can easily make over 100P everyday and it takes very little time to do.
I’m sorry but DE needs to make a better system of Market trading similar to other MMO’s like FF14’s Market. Going through the trouble of using a separate browser to post sells, having to delete your item, waiting on someone’s dm, inviting them, having to be online at the same time rather than putting items up and coming back from work or whatever to see your items that made profit sounds a hell of alot better. This is all convoluted for those that want a more accessible approach again like FF14’s Market that can do this and more. Really something DE could improve on in the future that makes the grind more worth your time. Rather than the back and forth hoping to Lotus you get a dm.
This is true but definitely part of the economy and the market in the game at the moment is the difficulty of the level of entry, it keeps the prices higher for things. It would be drastically better this way though, I agree.

That's true! I know I don't like doing bounties and no one else does that's why those mods sell for a decent amount haha. Can get some good endo in the process too :)
@@Cloysto Yeah, for me Bounties are fun but as typical Warframe nature the RNG based rewards ruins the day

2:25 No, you will not be able to trade with all players, just the players that made the same crossave account method. That means not being able to trade with other players that are native from the console your account originally was unless they did the same crossave method
This is true
So when i go back to PlayStation i cant trade anymore? 😭
@@Drinknutonly to pc and xbox players who opt out of crossplay which is rare
Actually, it's not just with players that also have a crossave account.
My friend playing on PS5 has made his account crossplay, and I can trade with him even tho my account is ONLY Steam on PC.
So in that case specifically : PS5 crossave accounts can trade with other crossave accounts, they can also trade with non-crossave PC accounts, but not with non crossave PS5 accounts.

Highly unfortunate :(
Ok thank you so much for the help I really needed it for the game I appreciate it 😀
yeah ofc :) gl out there
another way to sell stuff even tho u get less platinum is to go to the want to buy section of the part you are selling and selling it to the highest offer which sometimes can be the same as listing it with the lowest price
the benefits of doing it this way is you dont need to make an account, you dont need to remember to keep switching between invis and online if you do have an account, and lastly its quicker to sell and its sometimes the only way to sell things with low demand
That's true, I found if you have lots of things to sell it's easier to just make an account and go for it. Over time the few extra plat you make from each trade really adds up.
While I do want to sell prime items, but people would prefer buying the full set of a prime weapon or warframe, something that is vaulted, arcanes like secondary encumber and the stuff from baro ki'teer.
yeah those are definitely all good too.
I have straight up been hoarding prime parts like crazy and I only have a few complete sets of something

Tips for my console bros using warframe market on phone go to settings and set your platform to pc instead of the console your using if your using cross trade pc market moves way faster than console market there’s a item selling and buying each and every second
Mhm! I got a whole other market video for console players :D
If you're up for the grind though, I'd agree, it is a good plat making method.
wait for discount to 75% and buy in bulk
Buying when you have a 75% discount is good, but I know that not everyone wants to or can afford to spend money on games.
Buying i presume should be without limit.
good idea!
The most reliable method to grinding platinum in Warframe is having a real life job with income to buy plat with.
Well not everyone can afford platinum money with their paycheck unfortunately.

So when comes to warframe parts for example, do you sell the blueprints to the parts or do you build the parts and sell the built part? Or is it possible to even make the warframe entirely and sell the warframe as a whole too?
For normal Warframe parts, they're completely unsellable, but for prime parts you just sell the blueprint for the parts. You can't sell a Warframe
@ do people only sell the blueprint of the prime parts or can you get them already built? Or do they bind to the player once they’re built?
Only the blueprints for the player. Once you build them they're untradeable
tysm it was rlly helpfull

The problem I have is higher mastery players that I have encountered rip me off with how much plat they want to pay me and low master players have no plat at all
Well I'd suggest sticking to warframe.market not trade chat, as there's going to be set prices for every item you're looking for.
Warframe market really is amazing. Even if you dont use it to buy, at least use it to proce check before you buy. Theres a lot of scammers in trade chat.

I don't know the answer to that question to be honest. Might have to change your name on the market

@@Cloysto Thanks!
Yeah ofc :D gl
What war frame was you using?
I honestly don't remember I think it was Dagath.

@@Cloysto ok thankyou
1st. this is not early game, i played for around 65ish hours and i think i only got 1 part to sell that was worth more than like 4 plat, the moment you need to farm for 50 hours to get 100 plat its not possible to consider it an "early game" strat
2nd. the fact that you're kind of forced to join a clan to get trade cuz you need access to the dojo where 99% of the playerbase wants to trade is insane to me, as a truly solo player i'm not joining a useless clan because i need to trade for plat
3rd. plat its very much the base of the game considering that otherwise the game gets to a point where you can barely progress, so you either spend real money or 500 hours in game, and both are extremely awful options
4th. I got told that i could sell mods... i've seen maxed out mods going for 2 plat and in 65ish hours (and in the way i play mind you) i NEVER even had a 1 maxed out mod, imaging farming 100 hours to get 1 specific mod that you don't need but its a mod that sells quickly IF maxed out after 200 hours of playtime that will get you probably between 20 and 30 plat
I like the base of the game, the movement, shooting, the many weapons and the variants, the build possibilities, the customization of the frames but... the fact its one of those games that you need to dedicate your life to pushes me away, i played in total between accounts probably around 100 hours and every time i see a video it makes me want to play but all the aforementioned points just make me not want to play anymore.
1. Unfortunately this is one of two methods you can utilize early game to make platinum. Of the two, this is the simplest to understand and execute. You may be doing it wrong, I'd suggest two things
- Upgrade your relics to the radiant version.
I made another video which might be helpful: ruclips.net/video/mpjZdN6vDZM/видео.html
u could either A have a job and buy some or B grind ur life away and get back pain for a few days
It's more of a guide for if you're not wanting to spend money on the game :)
selling parts (sets if lucky)/nightmare mods got me hundreds of plat. sorta makes me the grind.
gj :)
doing trading is super boring, u could be at the relay posting your "ads" all day long and on warframe market (cut throat prices because most will try to price their items lower than the lowest ATM.) Especially when you just started out in the game, you should be out there blowing stuff into spare parts and enjoying the game content, not sitting at a desk selling wares all day long.
But the amount of grind is insane!
farm the shit out of tyna pass secondary cucumber goes for 250plat on max rank

Arcane energize back then was even more expensive then it is now and its still pricey.
