Gaew nueng or nueng gaew are both fine, but once it’s more than one, you have to put number in front of noun.

Note : The Sticky rice dessert in the bamboo tube is called “Kao Laam “ Rice was covered or coated with the inside natural layer or membrane from bamboo plant. They just filled raw sticky rice , black beans, coconut milk, sugar and a pinch of salt in the bamboo and grill the whole thing. Because of the heat the natural membrane of bamboo just stick with sticky rice and it’s very practical when you open the tube. And its smell so aromatic of bamboo.

Oh man, you guys probably need to walk off the emptiness feeling from watching this Rahn-Maar from Thailand. So far- We saw so many contents giving the film a biggg thumbs up that’s coming in from a few countries in Southeast Asia.
In fact we seen that the Filipino are ritually handing out tissue before entering the cinema on some video clips.
May be Thailand is just a sort of country that likes to give all dimensions of unexpected surprising elements. Just like so many wonderful delicious good food available - right down to the thrill of riding on fast tuktuk even if we don’t feel safe, and now a movie that is satisfying to watch but at the same time emotionally empty out our soul from within.

When you guys ordering the coconut smoothie, if 1 glass, you can either say ‘Gaw nuong’ or ‘Noung gaw’ both are correct, but if more than 1, you will say the number than follows with ‘gaw’. For excample; Song gaw (2 glasses), Sam gaw (3 glasses)😊

Otherwise (more than 1), put the number first, e.g. Song (2) Keaw, Sarm(3) Keaw, and so forth. Probably end with the word 'ka' (women) or 'krub' (men) for politeness (of course, it's optional). Thai is a very flexible language. When you want to order 1 glass of coconut you can say either 'kaew nueng' or 'nueng kaew' and actually the first one makes you sound even more local 😉

6:22 that's not laab it's called คั่วกลิ้ง kraw kling, from southern Thaifood. an old way to cook minced meat with curry paste until dry. There are only two types of larb, the northern larb and north eastern larb or esan laab. In the old days, the northern larb is very traditional and only men can make.

The yellow colored meat salad you thought it’s Laarb was called “Kua Kling” it’s a southern spicy meat salad. “Kao larm” sweet sticky rice with coconut milk with beans is one of my favorite Thai dessert. 3:48 Don't worry. It's basically the same. 'Nueng (one) Kaew (glass/cup)' is just a bit easier to remember for Thai language beginners because you can just change the number.
As for 'Kaew (glass/cup) Nueng (one)' we use this phrase when we wanna emphasize that we want only one glass. If you change the number e.g. 'Song'(two), the meaning will change to 2nd glass/cup not 2 glasses/cups.
However, all Thai will understand you anyway. Cheer up!🎉 It's great to see your Thai improve so much. ❤

"Lahn Mah" means "Grandma's nephew", "Lahn" is Thai word for nephew and "Mah" is abbreviation for Ah Mah, Chinese Tae Chew dialect, means grandma.
Thai-Chinese people is more than 20% of the whole people in Thailand. I'm Thai, Chinese and Malaysia since my father was Chinese and my mother is a Chinese Malaysia.

You can say "1 gaew" or "gaew neung" (less stress sound) which is mutually intelligible but we normally say the number in front of the noun (when 2 or more counts)
And if you feel it's super yummy, can just say "aroi maaaaakkkkkkkk"

Great decision choosing this movie!!. Somehow, shooting some of movie scenes in the cinema is quite not appropriate in Thailand(not sure for other countries). It's quite sensitive for some people. Just a good warning :)

"nueng kaew" is more polite while "kaew nueng" is less polite (more like a chit chat with friends) but if you add Krub or Kha to the "kaew nueng" then it becomes more polite. However, if you say "nueng kaew" with a disrespecful tone then it can becomes impolite as well.😅😊 Both of you are doing great👍 keep up the good work.

แก้วนึง (Kaew nueng) and หนึ่งแก้ว (Nueng kaew) are more than just switching the word orders. นึง and หนึ่ง are pronounced with different tones. Nueng kaew is formal and would be more appropriate in written language. However Kaew nueng is more natural as spoken language.

The menu you guys thought that it was Pad Kla Pao , actually, it is Thai southern dish name “ Khua Kling”
And Thai dessert that you ate name is “ Kao Larm” which have coconut milk and sticky rice as the ingredients and a sheath around that sticky rice is bamboo sheath which is eatable.
