What an epic intro sequence! Congrats!

Despite some other comments here, for me, this is the best and most usable and practical presentation (and graphic design) of Pathfinder ever. It's seriously impressive. I could imagine being able to access these nuggets of situational info on the fly (with a couple of minutes comfort or tea break) if I am thrown a curveball I hadn't prepped for.
Thanks so much for the review of the advice sections. This looks a great GM centred volume.
I've loved the coverage of PF2 remastered.

Curious what the intro music was from?

Looking forward to the section on building monsters - much more detailed and balanced in the GM Core I hope than I have found in other systems (which I won't mention).

I like the idea of having magic items and treasure player facing because it helps to build excitement for the players. If a player doesn't know what's out there, they have to be a lot more self motivating and i find most players arent.

Paizo release products that are actually usefull for DM's *tears in the eyes* Well WotC, are you aware who buys most of your products?

I’ll be honest, I bought both this book and the previous book (the old GM book) and I have no idea what the point of them is. Most of it seems to simply be a guide for being a social human being (and some of the advice on that is stupid, advising people to coddle infantile player emotions). I went from knowing nothing about tabletop gaming to GMing my home family game and it was all very obvious. Who needs this kind of thing?

Seriously? You're talking about around four or five pages out of 336. So you see no use to the gazetteer or the campaign/adventure/encounter creation materiel or the hundred plus pages of treasure and magic items?

@@Thegaminggang you said yourself that other than the treasure section, it’s all optional. So yes, I agree with YOU.

No. I said it could have been an optional pickup for GMs but seeing the treasure content is contained within it ends up being a core book. Feeling something could have been an optional pick up doesn't mean it isn't extremely useful for GMs. You harp about not understanding the point of the book and imply, in your comment, the main gist of the book is about how to deal with the players - including how to "coddle infantile player emotions." Disliking the book is absolutely your prerogative. Pointing out your misrepresentation of the book is mine. ~ Jeff

Jeff, don't waste your time with this crank. I have the GM Core (and have read it) and it sounds like a) this guy doesn't even own the book and he's got some axe to grind with Paizo or, B) he hasn't even read the book. The volume is full of really interesting content and should be very helpful to all types of GMs.

I hate the page layout the huge and mostly empty black border seems like such a waste of
