Speed and vision are great in competitive and bushy maps. Poison brawlers dont need vision gear. Vision gear is best on brawlers like Pam, Spike and Gene who can scan large area. Health gear is good on tankier brawlers. Tick is better with shield and mythic gear. Shield gear is great on squishier brawlers. Damage gear is best first gear if that brawler doesnt have mythic gear or reload gear. Reload gear is second best gear in my opinion. Super gear only makes difference on Sprout, Lou and Nani (maybe even Primo). Pet gear is best in heist.
Everyone understimates it, but I REEEEAALLY love the health gear. It may not be that noticeable on low health brawlers, but on tanks is so good! Ash is my 2nd main (i wonder who my 1st main is...👀) and I always use this gear because it provides insane value with his rage mechanic! You can have full health and deal 2400 damage!
I think it's underrated mostly because people don't understand why it's valuable. It's valuable because it decreases the down time needed to heal on every brawler equally, regardless of health, which is a huge deal in modes where constant pressure is necessary. People oddly use it in the modes and on brawlers where pressure is less important because the heal number is bigger, but the extra 2 seconds saved on healing to full on a long ranged, low health brawler is incredibly important in bounty, where it could prevent your team from getting backed into a corner and losing.

Brock is the most affected by the reload gear since he has the slowest reload speed of all the brawler that have this gear. Its really well compensated and i dont know best.. It reduce the reload speed from 2 to 1.7 sec. Plus the Rocket N⁰4 also gives him another ammo...
I feel like if Gene's Mythic Gear got a 7/10, then Leon's should've gotten a 7/10 as well. Also, I'd only agree with the Vision Gear's rating if we're talking about 99.9% of the playerbase. That gear just has insane potential and it provides a decent counter to the Speed Gear on maps where that gear dominates. The biggest thing holding that gear back is that you hardly get any value out of it if you don't know what you're doing.
I disagree with Leon getting the same rating as Gene. Gene's super is game changing and 2 more tiles also means more area control. Leon' super has enough time and 1 more second isn't that much. Also lower value than Gene's super. I agree with vision gear tho
@@NJ-lw5cx My point with comparing the 2 is that you're about as likely to actually need the 1 extra tile on Gene's gear, as you are to actually use the extra second of duration on Leon's gear. I think Gene's gear probably gets slightly more value over the long run, while Leon's gear synergizes really well with both of his Star Powers. I also just think Leon's mythic gear is straight up better than the Health gear which also got a 6/10 rating.
Hey, very interesting video! I agree with most of your list, but I do feel like you did some gears wrong. Firstly vision gear is VERY good on brawlers with large scanning abilities such as gene. It is a huge advantage on bushy maps and I do think it deserves more than the rating you gave. Secondly, the reload gear is basically a better damage gear. Having more ammo and ability to spam is very good, and some brawlers really don't function well without it.
Bro are you crazy, Leon’s smoke bomb gear is broken in showdown because it lets you reach far away bushes and take longer routes to assassinate. Eve’s gear is also broken too and same with Ambers.

To choose gears, it is always important to look at the stats Speed: The Speed Gear is really good on maps with many bushes, that are well placed, so you are in a bush very much. And it doesnt really depend on the brawler, so you can choose it with every Brawler Hitpionts: This Gear is rather good for High Health Brawlers with I would say 8K HP or higher, but its also very important for Hank or Angelo, because they cannot aim when they have to heal, so the time they need to heal has to be that slow it can be, so you can aim much earlier Damage: Damage is very good for the most brawlers, only some few Brawlers like Poco or Byron that are used to Help and Heal mates are not the best decisions for the Damage Gear. But you always have to think, so when there are 2 Gears that are more important, then you will not take the Damage Gear. Vision: The Vision Gear is rather used on high range Brawlers, because Brawlers with a low range just see their enemys while attacking them, but it also depends on the map, so when there are less bushes, it will not be a good choice. Shield: It is very good on Brawlers with low Health, that can die very fast, so they gain more value out of this Gear than Brawlers with high HP. But also Brawlers that are played very aggressively are making many out of it. Gadget Number 4: It is very good for very good gadgets, that you would like to use more often. Gadgets that are only good in some specific Situations are not good to take that Gear. But also the Gamemode is important, so in Knockout you will not use many Gadgets and then the Gear will not really have a chance. The Epic Gears are the same then the Damage Gear, they are very good in every game mode with every Brawler, but they will not be used when there are at least 2 better Gears to use. The Reload Gear is also not a good decision with the Speedfire Modifier in Ranked, because Reloading is very easy there. Mythic Gears are a very good decision, every one of them. But I would say the Mythic Gear on Spike is not very good with the Beal Starpower, because you will mostly put the super on yourself, and not to slow down enemys
Fun fact: Using the epic super gear on Bonnie is a waste of a gear slot since Bonnie charges her super with 4 shots (in her clyde form) and with it, it doesn´t allow her to charge it less than that.

My man just went vision gear 3/10, many people don't notice but vision is wayyyy too good in bush maps, any brawler except short range ofcourse uses vision gear.
Personnally i think the reload is easily the best epic gear bcz pressure is always there and for the pet gear any brawler with the reload gear can use reload bonus to kill the pets much easier. ( most annoying gear is the goddamn slows omfg )

The problem is Crow prefers shield and speed Leon prefers Speed And Shield/ Shield and Damage acc to sp Sandy Prefers Speed and damage Amber prefers Reload and Speed So all the gears for legendary brawlers are just useless
The vison gear is really good on long range brawlers with wide attacks like Otis,Pam or Gene. Problem is that we only have 2 gear slots so it ends up unused, You also heavily underrated Gene's gear, not only is it a big range increase but it also increases the air time of the pulled brawlers. And how is the reload gear 7/10 when it is a better damage gear? And you also overrated the damage gear by a lot,in every game mode except heist you will get more value from almost any other gear. 6.5/10 tbh
I don't really get why people say Pam's Gear is supposed to be Epic, when the Epic gear is called Pet Power. I'm pretty sure Pam's turret is not a "Pet", right? Edit: I also don't know why Crow has a poisoning attack, good super, good gadgets, good Star Powers, 4 legendary skins, very fast movement speed and a good mythic gear.
