The night his life was taken he was brought to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. My dog, Sadie, our flag, and I went to the highway overpass near us because the procession would pass under it. Later we were joined by the fire truck from Station 5 FWFD and shortly after a father and his young son brought their flag and joined us. To watch that long procession of first responders with their lights flashing was a site to behold. Texas honors it's heroes. 👮🏼🙏🏻👮🏼
Yes over the 40 plus years I have been a police officer I have attended many of these. This one hit close to home as I live right next to Little Elm and remember that night. The service was beautiful and the amount of pipes and drums from all over Texas and a couple from out of state was overwhelming. Thank you for doing your part to memorialize this fallen Officer.

YES! I have seen many fall to violence. I was the Funeral Director on many of deaths like this. 2021 I am retired now.
