Moon healer is an absolutely incredible album. Everything about it hits so damn hard. So beautiful, melodic, psychedelic. As a recovering drug addict this album hits me in a personal way.
This guy is so good at what he does. His voice blows my mind. I'm typically not even into vocals and even went into that prog metal without vocals genre that's trendy right now but this guy brought me back to a sound I actually love. I think he's a genius tbh. Moon healer is so incredible man. Fearful for my taste in music from here as they have set the bar for me.
I will defend my love of JFAC to anyone. His lyrics and vocals have evolved so well and the band is full of heft. Just good heavy music. The hype is monumental.
This for me is so epic. These guys set the bar when they first released back in the early 2000's! They are my absolute favorite band send them with cattle decap, white chapel, black Dahlia multiple times threw out the years. How they have developed and molded threw out the years is sooooo rad! I don't wanna say matured because when they came out they were ahead of there time doing shit and sounding like no one else was pioneering the way. Thank you thank you so much I just bought moon healer this makes me so happy. I hope you all can align frequencies in the Odyssey enough to do some shows. Graduated highschool in 2007 in the yearbook my last senior words next to my picture literally only say "Job for a cowboy Breeeeaaaaaaaaa!"
I went to blueridge 23 and had an amazing time. I met my wife there and got to see job for a cowboy and sleep token knocked loose ect. Blueridge 22 was quite amazing as well
I met him & Elliot Sellers in Asbury park almost 20 years ago... He literally just graduated & they were touring with the Doom EP. They weren't even signed yet from metal blade. They fuckin' destroyed the place, for a bunch of young guys! I knew they were about to blow up on that tour. They did. Super friendly guy, with a good head on his shoulders for sure. He is a beast of a frontman!
first time I saw Job was at sounds of the underground in 2007, I had just turned 14. planned it all out(had to see Job this summer no matter what) went down to Socal where my aunt and cousins were living and my older cousin who wasn't into metal took me because she loved me hahaha. the only reason I was going to this was for Job. but was exposed to so much more. thank you. (I can remember Brian from metalblade coming out to announce Job, didn't know who he was at time but was cool to make the connection later.)
I've listened to this band since highschool kinda funny knowing I'm blasting this while working a corporate job knowing the vocalist is also working a corporate job 😂 on another note please play a show in Detroit or grand rapids ❤
@@fatefatefate speaking of. Metal blade currently states “originally based in Arizona.” Which makes no sense. Jonny literally lives in AZ still and is the only original member.
Literally nobody is even in the band anymore from back then so comparing anything they do to this EP that was released when they (the members that were in the band back then) were fresh out of high school is soooooooooo dumb.

Wow i didnt even realize that was him at first. He looks so different without his beard he had before.
Or his long hair. Unless it's still there.
@@corvid_k he doesn't have long hair anymore
@@Blunterx420 didn't think so. Just didn't recognize him at all myself without him having it.

Fuck yeah!!! New serpent I heard that right???
Why does he sound so different now
I love the reference that they originally hail from AZ. Everyone always thinks Cali, but nope!
who the hell thinks they come from CA? i've NEVER heard this. they've always been a arizona band
@@fatefatefate back in the day around Genesis/demoncracy time metal blades own website listed them as a CA band. Lol

Everyone says that Doom EP was the best and it wasnt the best album they ever did,for me anyway was Demonocracy
Ruination is mine
Both are pretty great in their own ways. Think it's a tough one.
