Solid orchestral accompaniment of a tuneful and lovely baroque opera. As for the singers: with the only possible exception of the bass-baritone Sreten Manojlovic, all the other voices are undeveloped and weak, with unsupported middle and lower registers. Have any of these "baroque specialists" ever heard of the chest voice? Sure, the modern "male sopranos" and most countertenors don't have any, while some of their more "adventurous" colleagues are sometimes faking it by producing brutal jumps from the falsetto "register" to the natural baritone voice. Unfortunately, the female voices follow their bad example. This is not an "authentic" or historically informed performance, at least not vocally.

What a surprise, the male vocalist who sings in a tessitura where chest voice is naturally more present has more chest voice…. Wow 🙄
Why do so many of these string players use chinrests and huge clunky shoulder rests? It’s cheating and not very authentic.
