Honestly this episode is my least favorite episodes, it offended me. I know it's a comedy but I cannot tolerate a message that basically says the woman is always right. That's exactly what this episode's moral was. Amy criticizes Sheldon's behavior all the time, I think Amy deserves to be criticized for her atrocious behavior this one time.

Jr Davis it’s like when my cousin had a fight with my sister then my mom got mad at her sister because her sisters son who is my cousin was misbehaving. My mom then had a terrible fight with her sister and she called her sister some unacceptable names. My dad and my Nani who is my moms mother told my mom to stop but my mom kept yelling at her sister. If I heard people fight and I wasn’t involved and they put me in the middle like that I wouldn’t have liked it. Also when I was in high school and I did a scrapbook project in English class with my friend my mom told my dad and said to him that the friend I worked with always gets suspended. I only got 60% on that English project because my friend chose pictures for the scrapbook that were confusing. There were kids in my primary school that were close to my sisters age and during the recess hour and lunch recess hour some of those kids were fooling around in the bathroom and they got into trouble. My mom was a special education technician at my primary school and high school and when she talks about it with my sister that kids at school were destroying bathrooms at school she always keeps saying that they get into trouble. My sister and I never do unacceptable things like that. If there was bullying going on in the past but not now the past is the past. My mom also mentioned some kids names of who was fooling around in the washroom at school and she asks my sister which kids did it. Then my sister tells my mom the names of the kids that were destroying bathrooms at school. I can’t remember which kids did it.

Mayim is a really good actress and person. I used to dislike Amy A LOT before, but then at some point it got much better and now I'm fine with her character. I love seeing Wil as a guest star ^^
I only saw the rest of the episode and was appalled at how Wil Wheaton had been to Amy and how Sheldon hadn't stood up for her. But now that I see this scene... I like Amy's character, but she was mean and way out of line here. As awkward as it is, Sheldon was right in the end: her leaving really DID solve the problem ^^
This episode pretty much defined what the show became in the later seasons: one where all the guys became spineless and the women became unbearable nags.
When did the guys ever have spines? They only ever stand up to each other and the female characters, mothers, girlfriends were always "nags" as you called them. You must must've never watched closely enough.

I like Amy's character, but she was mean and way out of line here. As awkward as it is, Sheldon was right in the end: her leaving really DID solve the problem ^^

For once, Sheldon is the most relatable character in a scene
This was a clearly exaggerated event (like most events in most sitcoms) but it was a good example of real life problems. Amy was OBVIOUSLY in the wrong being a douche to Will over and over and he finally responded (and barely at that) and she expects Sheldon to fight her battle and drop his friend like a bag of rocks. Honestly, i feel like most guys have been in this same situation, just not woth a laugh track.
This scene is a perfect example of how obnoxious and downright rude Amy can be. Will had every right to snap at her.

You can tell that the third “What do you have for us first” Sheldon was like, “Shit I really don’t want to be in this position.” And yes Amy was being rude. If anything she should’ve taken advice from Will and not criticized him the way she did.

It's really obvious the show writers made Amy rude on purpose, because that created some really great comedy and s situation were Sheldon had to deal with a bad situation created by her without even understand what was happening.
Seriously, sometime girls just don't like friends, no reason at all they just don't like them, and act rude for no reason and at the same time claim to be the victim. But nobody could possibly manage the situation so unwilling, involuntary well like Sheldon.
