OMG! You hair looks amazing! And I love your tutorials, so easy to follow. Some folks just do too much with 35 different products and the end result is half as good as yours! Great job
Your trims probably really help your curl pattern a lot. I always have super frizzy ends if I haven’t been treating my hair right, and cutting them off makes my hair look so much better.
You've been my favorite hair care youtuber for years at this point, I learned so much here that I would have never known if it wasn't for you so thank you🙌🏾
Thank you so much for this video - so many folks trying to detangle during shampoo - I cringe. The Cutical is raised to accept the shampoo- hair is way to vulnerable to comb. I finger detangle lightly and gently smooth down and hit the scalp with a good rub. Hun your hair is thriving - gorgeous mane! Please please use proper sheers for trimming your hair - the scissors give you immediate split ends - :)
Can you still go through this process successfully even without parting your hair, sectioning it, and/or putting it in a bun? I'm new to this but sectioning and parting still always seems so difficult for me. Any tips would help a lot lol
Do you have high porosity hair? Because I don’t think my hair will respond the way your hair does. No matter how much detangling and moisturizing I do my hair always shrinks up and turns in to a box and I can’t see my curls out in front.
Thanks bro, new subscriber! Been looking for more options and care for my hair. It's prob 4 inches or more and have been styling it either corn rows or afro. Love the informative content!
My hair is really thick and dense so it can take HOURS to detangle, like genuinely 3 to 4 hours and I want to be in the bathroom as little as possible so I wet it first, go to my room and detangle with conditioner, then back to the shower to shampoo snd after that put conditioner again and detangle again but much faster. Idk how healthy that is but it works
Would you put on the oil after your leave in or after styling? Because if you do it after the leave in then you'd end up putting styling gel on top of oil. That doesn't sound right but idk.
Hey Kobi, my hair is over moisture recently and for maintaining it I've applied protein treatment of Aphogee. You think I should incoporate in my wash day my moisture deep conditioner or to be of it when the hair is balanced? TIA!
Hi, thanks for the guide, unfortunately it didn't quite work out for me, it might be because I have extremely thick and tight curls but I've been in love with this hairstyle ever since I've first seen it lol. If you have anything like this for thicker and tighter curls please let me know I would love it so much haha.
Try the shingling method, you basically part you hair in sections and then you make every curl with your finger. Depending on how much hair you have, it should take you max 2 hours. I can do it in about an hour and I have my sides short. It's very similar to coiling, only that coils are tighter, so if you still have trouble holding the curl, coiling it will give better results.
Where did you buy your hair products and will the hair products also work for teenagers because I have two biracial teens but both their hair textures are different from each other
So I use aunt Jessie’s leave in conditioner and shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and the next day there will be excess conditioner like flakes left that is visible up close is this normal or does anyone have a fix?
@Blue17 I’m spending 60$ on hair products such as rosemary oil for growth and good looks and deep conditioner and so many other good stuff so I don’t have bad hair

We going through the same brother
You can but it might take longer and you will have to pay more attention to the parts that you are trying to curl
You have to tame your hair first
Comb your hair like you have waves
Use ur finger or a comb

Parting your hair and doing his normal method, coiling, will work really well. It’s just that it takes 2-3 hours

Do you recommend using a bonnet cuz everytime i wake up my curls are all messedup and is really annoying
Where did you buy your hair products and will the hair products also work for teenagers because I have two biracial teens but both their hair textures are different from each other

Just someone in the comments pls be completely honest w me rn: is it possible to get curls like koby if I have 4c?
There is benefits to all hair.... you'll find what's perfect for your hair and love it
Can you wear a durag as an alternative to a bonnet? My length is probably the same as yours.
Kolby the style you did in this video as opposed to the way you normally do your hair, which style last longer? Kolby you are amazing!!
Sorry I misspelled your name😒
he said finger coils last longer for him but any style i think can last a long time if you use the right products/technique
I'm confused . Will I be able to make my hair look like that if we have the same hair type , but I have a high top ?
Any advice for medium length hair but wanting curls also....mine only pop after i relax my hair
