This is my first time dancing after my ankle surgery. I was actually not going to post this hip hop freestyle, it was a personal moment. After sitting behind the chair for the past 2 years not being able to really share with the other dancers. I had to get some movement off my chest and express myself. I am still in my recovery stage so am not able to really dance all out. Therefore I was not gonna post this video. But I figured that all of you have been on this journey with me. And that I don't want to share with just the dancers who where at the dance battle. But just give my energy world wide. So even though this hip hop dance was not much of an skilled showcase. It was my heart and I hope it resonates!
Bro I think dancing and the ability to move and think the way you, as a dancer, do.. it's a gift. Maybe, just maybe, all these hindrances are helping you to bloom into a more powerful and complete dancer, given that an important part of your dancing has been taken away from you. I have no doubt that you've definitely worked on the inner part, the soul and mind of a dancer, which is something frequently overlooked and ignored.. you're going to come back as strong as ever. I know this. Keep it up Kev man. You are a big inspiration

"Less is more" sometimes, and that beat was rather minimalist, so your moves worked well with it. I enjoyed watching those 2 minutes, and you clearly enjoyed dancing them. Just make sure you wait until you're fully recovered (as far as it will go) before you go all out again. Wouldn't want to mess up your recovery by being impatient. Peace, man.
Hey brother.. Thnx for all the dancing tips.. But i have some more doubts.. The 1st is i dont look free while iam dancing cause my mind is full of judgemental thought when i dance infront of someone and at the same time my head and shoulder parts are fixed at the same position. The 2nd is i want to become a versatile dancer but iam confused that should i learn different styles one by one or should i learn many styles all together? Plz help me in this two doubts..
1st: Master grooves. Its irrelevant how you feel if you're good at grooves. Be it nervous, tired, angry etc. Grooves dictate the rhythm and flow of your dance. There are countless moments where I don't feel like dancing but the moment I focus on the rhythm of my dance by grooving, it always trick my brain that I wanna dance. Most importantly, if the rhythm of your dance matches the music (which is extremely easy to do), you never have to worry about doing the 'right' move at the 'right' time. 2nd question: You do you.
