Somehow the wavering in and out of the key was just really freeing. I feel better rested now, thank you.

Dude I just found this channel like 10 minutes ago and I can't get enough of it, the newness of this music is incredible and you deserve *way* more recognition

Thank you! I process music visually, so I try to do a pretty good job on the visual element.

Always better to feel a work of art than to understand it. Thank you for listening!

I'm enjoying the newness of this music. It's got plenty of familiar intervals, and the gestures are big and expressive. But there's also lots of unfamiliar material, and it's all woven together in a pleasantly organic way.
So, the time signature you mentioned - is it 4 beats, plus one seventh of a whole note?

Thank you! It's four quarter notes plus a single member of a 7:8 eighth note tuplet. Basically, the 4/4 part of the meter is taken at 60 beats per minute and the last eighth note is at 53 bpm (a multiplication of the tempo by 7/8). It's subtle, but it's just enough to push things into the rhythmically uncanny.

At first I thought: finally some 23-edo! (Because few use it and its antidiatonic mode.) Then I read again. 😅 But it’s very nice regardless. Ah the sound. 🪐⛸

Maybe I should give 23-edo a try sometime.
