Just wanted to add a fun fact about the 7 Virtues . I met the creator in my local Sephora in Nova Scotia . Her name is Barbara Stegemann and she grew up in a small town here . She pitched her idea on Dragon’s Den ( the Canadian version of Shark tank )and went on to great success with her fragrance line and also wrote a book called the 7 virtues of a philosopher queen ( she signed my copy which I have not read yet ! )
Speaking of vetiver fragrances, past night I had insomnia, and what did I do? Online shopping for fragrances 😂 I ordered Alexander McQueen Vetiver Moss. I'm hoping it's as wonderful as it's described. I'll keep you posted!

@@VeronicaSays Many years ago, my partner and I did a canoe trip in northern BC. It was the Bowron lakes, which are a chain of lakes that are connected in a loop. I was using a solid shampoo from Lush for the trip. I don't think they make it anymore, but it was bright yellow and full of Jasmine flowers and had many of the same notes as this fragrance. So, when I sprayed this it brought me right back to the wilderness in Canada all those years ago. It's was an amazing adventure and happy memories for me. - Jenn

Seta sounds like just my cup of tea! I love a soft, resinous vanilla and anything that can qualify as a sweater fragrance. ❤ I’m a nurse that used to work in a clinic giving vaccines and cold shoulder shirts always remind me of that job. I would joke with my patients that wore them that they dressed well for the occasion. 😂

I bought the Shalimar Tonka from the Guerlain website. I signed up to be notified when it came back in stock. The notification came at around 3 am and fortunately I’m a terrible sleeper and got it. When I got it I was instantly in love and went back in to sign up for notifications again. The same thing happened a second time. I absolutely adore it. Might be worth checking out their site.

😯 Just received my 'blind buy' from everyone's favorite discount house, Veronica, and had to mention Lalique Noir Premiere 'Fleur Universelle 1900' again.... I originally ordered this from a Canadian company some time ago, tho it was ripped from it's box and stolen from the mail. So now, enjoying the complexity of this beautifully blended elixir... it's a total shape shifter! I don't get alot of the unusual notes that are listed by Lalique, although it changes rapidly and is just the epitome of the elegant era it's named for. THE BOX & BOTTLE!! To die for... a gorgeous large black lacquered box and an exquisitely done flacon...the most beautiful packaging ever! This is a perfect gift to impress, esp for Christmas/New Year's...😍 Masterpiece!!

@@VeronicaSays I only have a decant of Shalimar, so I may not be doing it justice but where it screeches and emits a cumin powder explosion, Shalimar Millésime Tonka is all restrained warmth and a light dusting of powder. A nutty and vanillic amber, it smells like polished conkers should smell. I hope you get your nose on it!

I was surprised how much I liked Choco Violette when I sampled it. It reminded me of dark chocolate violet fondant creams. Still love my Cacao Porcelana the best though 🥰
I love merchant of venice arabesque, so well blended a much better version of tobacco vanille.a great warm spicy , tobacco,with a hint of sweetness i feel from the plum .a great vanilla fragrance for the holidays!❤️👌i like alot of the line.not many people talk about this house.if you like a cocoa powdery scent yoy should try amouge lilac love if you dont have it already.i love it.smooth and great for a cozy winter fragrance.

Also, Maison Tahite is a recent discovery for me, I love their fragrance, bottle style and affordable price. The cacao line and coffee line, I will try next, currently I am trying out their vanilla line. I think Commodity Milk will always be in my collection, I also have both the expressive and bold, and still wanting to get the personal version 😁😁😁I also consider Cacao Porcelana a blind buy win for me, now I know or I learned from you that it was the porcelain crafting scent that I was wondering about for a long time. Yes, that powdery earthy clay smell in Cacao Porcelana is supposed to mimic the fine powder mist produced when refining fine porcelain. Cool, huh? I think the sweater is very pretty and flattering on you. I don’t care about trends, I just wear what I like and what looks good. I tried 2 new Orientica perfumes that I am obsessed with: Arte Bellissimo Exotic which is a lovely vanilla sandalwood in the theme of this is her by Zadig and Voltaire… and Arte Bellissimo Romantic which really is another Delina - esque fragrance but it has a spiciness that I love. Highly recommended trying them.

Forgot to say Happy Thanksgiving! As a Canadian we had ours last month. I find it so weird how they are at different times but they are based on different celebrations. The Canadian one is just about celebrating harvest time which starts in October.

I really like Rosendo Mateo and think they are really easy to wear and very likable but wasn't going to get them since they are a bit pricey, so when I found testers (with caps!) for ~100$ I got No 5 and 6 , such a good find! I also have and love the Boucheron Tonka - this line is so nice and underrated (I also have the Vanilla and Amber )

Hey Veronica! I truly enjoyed this lineup. There are quite a few that are on my wishlist. I fell in love with the Contessa bottle. Jamanisha was the a love though but I’m not a Jasmine lover so that didn’t surprise me. I actually paused the video to go spray #6 🤣. This might be my SOTD. I trust your thanksgiving was amazing. My SOTD was Majd Al Sultan mixed with Khamrah. I was projecting like crazy all day. It was great! No one smelled better than me and I received 5 compliments before I even got to my family’s house for dinner. I’ll definitely be mixing Khamrah with a few more scents.

I had such high hopes for amour santal! I was ready to blind buy it but it was sold out at the time I placed my order so I settled for a sample of it. Now I’m glad I did. I’ve never smelled the original but Juliana’s version smelled like a lemony sweet air freshener over a urine-like scent. I saw that Dua just released their version of Santal complet but now I’m too scared to try it lol
Hey there! 😄 I have Soul Batik by Moresque, it's great, a very dry amber, spicy, but it was a total fail for me because I find it really masculine; I bought it because I've tried it in the shop with many other perfumes, so my nose got confused! 🤣 The owners are nice ladies but not good sellers, all they can say is that a fragrance is sooo good, as long as you buy it... So that was my first and last visit there... Anyways... happy thanksgiving to you, so that I have a little bit of USA in my house today! 😄👍👍👍

Just wanted to add a fun fact about the 7 Virtues . I met the creator in my local Sephora in Nova Scotia . Her name is Barbara Stegemann and she grew up in a small town here . She pitched her idea on Dragon’s Den ( the Canadian version of Shark tank )and went on to great success with her fragrance line and also wrote a book called the 7 virtues of a philosopher queen ( she signed my copy which I have not read yet ! )

@@VeronicaSays Many years ago, my partner and I did a canoe trip in northern BC. It was the Bowron lakes, which are a chain of lakes that are connected in a loop. I was using a solid shampoo from Lush for the trip. I don't think they make it anymore, but it was bright yellow and full of Jasmine flowers and had many of the same notes as this fragrance. So, when I sprayed this it brought me right back to the wilderness in Canada all those years ago. It's was an amazing adventure and happy memories for me. - Jenn

I bought the Shalimar Tonka from the Guerlain website. I signed up to be notified when it came back in stock. The notification came at around 3 am and fortunately I’m a terrible sleeper and got it. When I got it I was instantly in love and went back in to sign up for notifications again. The same thing happened a second time. I absolutely adore it. Might be worth checking out their site.

😯 Just received my 'blind buy' from everyone's favorite discount house, Veronica, and had to mention Lalique Noir Premiere 'Fleur Universelle 1900' again....
I originally ordered this from a Canadian company some time ago, tho it was ripped from it's box and stolen from the mail.
So now, enjoying the complexity of this beautifully blended elixir... it's a total shape shifter! I don't get alot of the unusual notes that are listed by Lalique, although it changes rapidly and is just the epitome of the elegant era it's named for.
THE BOX & BOTTLE!! To die for... a gorgeous large black lacquered box and an exquisitely done flacon...the most beautiful packaging ever! This is a perfect gift to impress, esp for Christmas/New Year's...😍

A nutty and vanillic amber, it smells like polished conkers should smell. I hope you get your nose on it!

Also, Maison Tahite is a recent discovery for me, I love their fragrance, bottle style and affordable price. The cacao line and coffee line, I will try next, currently I am trying out their vanilla line. I think Commodity Milk will always be in my collection, I also have both the expressive and bold, and still wanting to get the personal version 😁😁😁I also consider Cacao Porcelana a blind buy win for me, now I know or I learned from you that it was the porcelain crafting scent that I was wondering about for a long time.

I think the sweater is very pretty and flattering on you. I don’t care about trends, I just wear what I like and what looks good. I tried 2 new Orientica perfumes that I am obsessed with: Arte Bellissimo Exotic which is a lovely vanilla sandalwood in the theme of this is her by Zadig and Voltaire… and Arte Bellissimo Romantic which really is another Delina - esque fragrance but it has a spiciness that I love. Highly recommended trying them.

I also have and love the Boucheron Tonka - this line is so nice and underrated (I also have the Vanilla and Amber )

Hey Veronica! I truly enjoyed this lineup. There are quite a few that are on my wishlist. I fell in love with the Contessa bottle. Jamanisha was the a love though but I’m not a Jasmine lover so that didn’t surprise me. I actually paused the video to go spray #6 🤣. This might be my SOTD. I trust your thanksgiving was amazing. My SOTD was Majd Al Sultan mixed with Khamrah. I was projecting like crazy all day. It was great! No one smelled better than me and I received 5 compliments before I even got to my family’s house for dinner. I’ll definitely be mixing Khamrah with a few more scents.

I had such high hopes for amour santal! I was ready to blind buy it but it was sold out at the time I placed my order so I settled for a sample of it. Now I’m glad I did. I’ve never smelled the original but Juliana’s version smelled like a lemony sweet air freshener over a urine-like scent. I saw that Dua just released their version of Santal complet but now I’m too scared to try it lol

Hey there! 😄 I have Soul Batik by Moresque, it's great, a very dry amber, spicy, but it was a total fail for me because I find it really masculine; I bought it because I've tried it in the shop with many other perfumes, so my nose got confused! 🤣 The owners are nice ladies but not good sellers, all they can say is that a fragrance is sooo good, as long as you buy it... So that was my first and last visit there... Anyways... happy thanksgiving to you, so that I have a little bit of USA in my house today! 😄👍👍👍
