We platooned in the EVEN 90 once. Got a crucial contribution out of it between the three of us focusing our fire on the lights and fast tanks and running away together. That was a fun game (for us).
Back when they added this to the game, it felt like they wanted a premium replacement for the old memes you could do with the ELC AMX with the old scout mm, except that the ELC actually had usable gun so it didn't really matter if you were against tier sixes or nines.
This tank makes soooo much money. You never fire your gun, so you don't lose credits to premium ammo, I run Gasoline so I'm not losing credits to food, and then you are easily able to get 2k spotting or more, so it's quite profitable in my experience. Also, I run Binos and Camo Net because then you can go invisible in any bush and it's hilarious to just watch people drive around you oblivious to your existence.
I can personally vouch for the spotting memes of this tank. Battle a couple days ago on Prokhorovka at north spawn, our Even 90 got to those bushes on the 1 line. He ended up with 0 direct damage, nearly 10k spotting damage, and top exp with 1337 base.
Hate to say it but the calendar was a bit of a disappointment this year. So many of the tanks offered are merely available in the bond shop or for gold in the tech tree tabs. Shouldn’t this be for offering things you can’t just buy any given day of the week?
To answer your question circon 10M view range scales harder than Camo due to how the formula works, you need 15% of camo to negate every 10M view range approx to get back to the same spotted distance
I am running vents, vstabs and optics on this, and i'm doing more damage than in the lt-432 somehow! Ofc I have a stupidly OP crew from my Amx Elc, and I know all the positions where a long aim time and epic camo can be broken, and also I play a lot of autoloaders, but still sometimes I can't believe it hahaha... I think it's more due to me not playing the LT very well, but a damage setup on this can be very good, especially because you will outspot everyone even without the new equipment memes, so might as well kill them too when the team is sleeping

Super fun tank to play. And actually kind of OP once you learn all the spots that it and only it can use to spot from. Hint, some bushes hit boxes are a bit bigger than the visual model and some tuffs of grass count as bushes... Managing 70% win rate in over 100 games due to being able to spot the entire enemy team from 200m away without being spotted even without a bush. Exhaust in special slot is OP on this, 57% ish camo with everything. LT is still better overall but nothing beats the silliness this thing can provide. Was giggling like a girl at times with the things I was getting away with.
And the EU server- it's not really much of an Advent deal other than having a 1000 or so discount and you get 100% crew. Still, I was surprised to see this rather than something you can't buy for gold at any time.
I dont have bounty equipment, but still have a lot of fun with this tank, and have some great spotting games on the regular. its a good earner as well. (im an average player 5400 wtr)
Yeah, it gets big credits for big spotting. Just first marked it yesterday after spending some of my box gold on it a week ago. Enjoying it very much :-) .
They have a lot of tanks that are more rare and are not for sale just simply in the game. To me it even feels like for this years advent calendar wg just forgot what tanks they just put in the store that were not there before and then they put them in advent calendar like something special. There are so many tanks that jump to my mind that are not for sale always( defender, progetto, double barrel heavy) Maybe they didn't put them in the advent calendar because they are too good, but they have sold them before and I'm sure they will sell them in future, so it's quite weird. Personally I am not even buying anything now, I have a good amount of prem tanks already, but even looking at this years advent calendar is a bit sad, nothing interesting really.
No day 25 review? I guess you were as disgusted as the rest of us that WG pushed the gold in crates then asked us to pay real money for the Obj 703 II.....

camo equipment brings more to the outspotting equation because it's literally 6% camo, like if you have 20 camo it'll become 26

you can do a similar thing with the t92: you exchange 8 percent camo for 25 meter view range, which gives it incredible scouting potential.
also the dpm of the the t92 is still decent.
I know this is late, but 8% camo is HUGE.
