One of the most important videos in the last maybe 2 years. Especially for new players, of which there are more and more. It would be really nice to make special videos for specific divisions (types) of the tanks themselves and their "jobs" on the battlefield. GG for this!

@World of Tanks - Why is it you never show camouflage paint on the tanks in your videos? This leads many players to assume that camouflage paint doesn't make any difference and that is totally false. You need to make a video on camouflage paint explaining the positive differences it makes, how to obtain it, mount it, dismount it, remount it, etc. This is a very big oversight.
Buy the latest over powered premium tanks as soon as they come out. Buy the latest equipment and crews, spend 6 hours a day playing and you too can be great player until the next over powered premium tank comes out and they change the equipment and crew skills perimeters. Even then if WG decides you don't pen your shots or win your games, tough luck,
Great video and well worth watching for newer players. It's worth adding that getting better stats in lower tier tanks is smarter than rushing to get the top tanks, like I did way back when. I wished WG would also have addressed RNG which, in this game, can be quite infuriating because it determines outcome more often than skills. A player with high stats will invariably bounce fewer shots than a player with low stats, and that's not just because they understand the game mechanics better.
Oh thank you for this video. Maybe it will remind some players that not all meds are for spotting and not all heavies are for brawling. Tired of getting insulted when I don't take my leopard to go spot for the heavies.

Only played 500 games and got to tier 4 sofar so very helpful. One thing not mentioned was the players that play low tiers even though 50k plus games most likely with great crews and equipment. Constantly get taken out by these players.

Here's another tip. In a game of 30 players, assuming all are of equal ability if one makes a mistake, there is 1/30 chance it was you. That mistake could well decide the outcome of the battle. If the players for a team were chosen by such a method as complete randomness, the only possible prediction is that mistakes will be made which will be completely unpredictable by any possible player with unpredictable probability anywhere on the map at any point in time.
To play out the strengh of your tank is only one part to boost your statistics. The other part is to find out which tanks are best to do so. Hint: Not german tanks, not sniper tanks.
Too bad some tanks' role description is a lie, take AT15 for example, if you played AT8 and AT7 you know you can assualt in those TDs, that all comes to an end at AT15, if you try to lead the charge you will get mowed down by premium HTs.
the problem is that in current quick wot playing for stats too often means playing against own team (passive with a good/top tank, not to win, no pressure, no spotting, dmg only); very good players do stats on first line like some cc's, but most play safe and do a lot of dmg when battle has already been lost and single tanks are coming.....funny thing is that such players are completely usless in skirmish and/or especially cw;gl hf and learn mathematics since statistics w/o proper assumptions is worthless

Hemoglobin Joseph nope, my pen rate pretty much doubled, penning twice as many shots gives you a lot more damage so you win more games, the extra 10% crew skills from food ment I spotted people I might not have without or managed to get a killing shot off half a second before the enemy would have killed me, or fully aim s second faster to hit a shog you might have missed , tanks where you gain a massive amount of shell velocity with gold ammo like the super hellcat you just hit a lot more shots, all that combined easily let's you win another 10 or 11 games out of every hundred, my amx 1357 doubled its average damage once I swapped out to full gold ammo and premium consumables,
well, exposing yourself to enemy fire is a mistake in the first place. idk if damadge blocked should be as important as it is, especially when it is not calculated into single battle score
@@vankristlabs she's probably spending quite a bit with this setup. Because I don't see her making that much credits running gold and food all the time unless she's always winning and coming out top with huge damages and experience
WN8 is not created by WG. WG did not create a rating system until much later. There are numerous issues with WTR. WN8's limitation (not counting assists) is more of the limitation of WG's query API which does not provide this info. Overall, WN8 is a better stats.

It also counts other things like frags, decap points, spots etc. The known drawbacks of WN8 are two things: lack of assist and lack of per tank variation value (it has per tank average value). It does not have assist because WG's API does not include assist values. WN8 is not great for assist based tanks like lights, but otherwise it is a good metric for other classes. WTR is bad for many reasons. It includes blocks which is a fairly useless parameter that does not correlate winning, because one should avoid being shot in the first place. And there are people farming blocks when it has no role in winning the game.

Well, if you have 12 out of 15 using that tier-3-strategy in one team and only 3 out of 15 in the other team, it's really easy to find out why we lost. 😆
@@dragondeal1675 had a battle like that yesterday, I'm by no means a pro, it was my first battle with 9k dmg, but i could say from the start that were gonna lose, i did more damage than the rest of my team combined smh .....
Looking at your team composition, looks great. Most are autos and 2 keys spammer. Start of battle, boom, LTs in heavy line, HTs are sniping in bush lane. MTs /TDs doesn't move much from there last position. When a lane us about to overrun they start cowering to other lane even if they can actually hull down the position. Most doesnt read minimaps until you chat of impending push. Most will troll 1 lane because thats where everyone goes. Most doesnt do the very purpose of their tank. Most doesnt know how to flank/hold position. Most doesnt want to scratch their tank nor take one for the team. Welcome to WoT reality 😂.
After 5 years away from the game between '16 & '21 I should not be surprised I did not improve during my time away. Same goes for my last 6 month break. WOT is fun but its not the only game I play. In terms of hours / play time it is too expensive. Sorry Wargaming but you'll never get $1000 of my money.

WN8 better than WTR, because WTR takes into account average XP that is also influenced by premium account. Make it so all players can achieve the same stats regarding if they have premium account or not (almost seems that paying for premium account offers just a little + on my stats and it should never be the case).
I played yesterday and i saw that only matters the win lose rate. For example i damaged 4000 hp but we lost the match and my personal rating went down. I dont knoe wg why lying to us. That a same and makes me angry.
It's not so much about inflicting damage, as it is about saving your own teammates from being blown up. Keeping your teammates guns in the battle helps your team win.
The amount of bulls**t that happens in this game makes this video irrelevant. This guide is made by someone that doesn't play the game or does play but is happy with 2k dpg on tier X...
Yeah, learn everything is on the video, and in the end, luck, aka is RNG, ruin all of your game. Don't say that a 15x2 battle, missing 80% of the shots, is my fault. Fix MM and reduce the impact of RNG, then, we can focus on all of this tatics.

Just spam gold ammo at everything and use food and large consumables, when I could afford to do this my win rate changed from a 49% to almost 60%

What i've done is that i've mounted improved hardening on every tank, loaded full gold, big kits and food and my winrate has gone to 70%

That pen marker doesn't work all the time. I've shot many tanks with a green dot and zero pen.

It definitely wasn't luck: t8 premium rushed me and gg or ammorack or minutauro or just bad teammates that definitely isn't unlucky
