Hundreds of millions of chickens are confined in 1x1 foot cages for their entire life, and slaughtered in the most unimaginable of ways. And this man got jailed for defending off a super evil chicken? This was the most humane death a chicken could ever ask for. One slap, and dead. Chickens run around without their heads for several seconds, so this chicken had a nice death in comparison. And it deserved to die, unlike most other chickens.
You left out how once the chicks are discovered to be males, they're quickly thrown into bins to be discarded for "other" uses.
Btw, the ones at bottom of bin slowly suffocate due to lack of air and excessive heat from all the writhing, chirping bodies on top of them.
Yet instead of charging poultry processors with cruelty to animals, an innocent man clearly under self defense circumstances is arrested, humiliated, charged, jailed and still facing court appearance and legal costs.
Unacceptably disgusting justice!!

This man is 100% correct. If the neighbor has an aggressive animal, he needs to keep it contained. If he lets it run around and it attacks somebody and they defend themselves, that’s on the neighbor. He’s an irresponsible pet owner.

The reporter did an amazing job of letting dude tell his story. I believe this dude was in the right and hopefully he gets the charges dropped. This ain’t a chicken, it’s a rooster, they are highly aggressive.
It sounds like a clear case of self defense.
Seems like the prosecutor is too chicken to dismiss all chargses,apologize and expunge his arrest record.
Also too chicken to charge rooster owner for: repeated failures to contain aggressive animal, multiple unprovoked attacks upon the public,general and unabated nuisance to the public, bona-fide threat to children, attacks of elderly causing multiple injuries and deprivation of elderly's right to peace and safety at their place of residence.
The innocent man also deserves due compensation that includes lifetime free chicken dinners at the eateries he mentioned.
Just imagine all the business those places would get as he retells his story in his own words to the all customers gathered around as he picks up his meals or dines inside! 😅
