Hardware/software technical difficulties, gaming, weddings, and parties have kept me away, but I'm back! I think I had music whispers trying to stop me during this cover because after recording problems with my new interface I hooked up my old one which wasn't detected by my DAW and then something happened to my new bass so I recorded with the old one and something was still not right. With all the problems this mix sounds better than it deserves to so I guess that's cool. I had fun turning off the music in the scene this plays in the game to record lifestream noises straight from the game.

Thank god I replayed this part and was reminded of this track so I could do this. Yeah that was one of my favorite parts I love this game and it's soundtrack and its ending!

That clean tone is perfect for this song that feels like something from underwater. It also reminds me of the Pokémon Tower theme. It has that same mystery and similar sounding notes. Nailed this one

Thanks man! I actually replayed the scene without music and then recorded about 6 mins worth of the in game lifestream sound on my playstation than imported it to my pc to convert it as a sound file. Love that this is an option now haha

I remember several years ago you mentioned that you liked it more once you realized its a sequel... I am only approaching cosmo canyon at the mo an loving it so far, but it screams sequel now more than ever so I rekon you were right!
Yeah now that I've processed it I think Rebirth might be the best game I've ever played. Cant wait to start hard mode!
@@ProjectGenesisMusic Yeah man me too, at least the best action rpg I've ever played. They really pulled out all the stops on this. I was a bit worried that open world tropes would ruin it but I think its been done pretty well. I do wish that you fought the summon creatures in the wilds or in their temples though. Having virtual reality fights with them through chadley is so.....blue. Other than that I've not a thing to complain about, its far exceeded anything I could have imagined, especially the insane soundtrack. Looking forward to some more covers!
