Wow! This is fascinating! I’ve got a couple stacks of old postcards I have no idea what to do with. Can you recommend a book or some other kind of resource from which I can learn more? I assumed if there was writing on them, they wouldn’t be worth anything 😱
I have a good amount of postcards from early 1900s! There is some with a swastika on them before WW2 obviously. I have no clue if any have worth- I would assume not because they’re used. I had a great Aunt that literally kept everything. They’re just really neat to see.
The last ship was the titanic or its older twin sister who some conspiracy theorists claim where switched by owner for insurance money so he got a brand new ship (titanic) and got top dollar for his old crusty ship that was on its last days but got value of a brand new ship by simply painting over the names of each one over the other. He got value of ship plus lost revenue on projected sales for several years until a new one could be built and what kinda makes this theory seem plausible is how he branded it as unsinkable knowing that it would would have caused so much press and free publicity back when word of mouth was basically all you had besides a newspaper here and there. Insurance always pays out more than the actual cost to build or value thereof so even if it was the titanic than sank the owner made a large profit off its sinking no matter but if it was his older ship he probably quadrupled his net worth overnight back when a dollar could buy you groceries for almost a month
Found this from watching your other channel. The education is priceless! Keep on keep'n on my man!!
I like how you did this and quickly made your money back. Thanks for sharing the ones you cherry picked out. Fun finds! 😎
This was fascinating. I think the "touching story" is meant to be funny because "touching" someone was slang for borrowing money.
Omggg that’s why the writing on RPPCs always look messy. So interesting! Thank you for this vid!

The Mystery Spot was a roadside attraction and I've seen maybe a dozen different views over the years
My family has a cabin near the mystery spot in Santa Cruz CA. It's still a tourist destination.
The firemen were holding speaking trumpets, for shouting out commands at a fire, before bull horns.
Thank you for a good video. Have a great week.
Wow amazing how do you find them I am having no luck
I'm just starting to sell postcards on EBAY. how would you suggest I source postcards starting out?
Some nice finds. I find it interesting that you call Real Photo postcards real picture postcards
Are you related to Rusty? You sound a lot like him. Great video and nice score.
