We all knew it would end like that. Why would a company bring it back when people were fucking doing criminal acts against each other (DDOS) to win the damn money or even hacking their Admin systems. When i played this shit and won with my main acc, the fighting level wasn't that high of course but it was fair, people used the ways the game had (Citadel runner tactic). In the end it was just a battle between Bugs and fucking luck. Nowadays it would be even more worse, look at those 1vs1. Ice rocket misses, PLD has been changed and the lag is insane. 1 Miss can decide everything. I can understand the decision of BP but i don't like it either. I also don't like the way the game is going right now. I won't waste all my sundays... What the hell. Enjoy your reallife, i didn't play for 2 years and this was the best decision i've made. Now i am looking different at things which belong to darkorbit - darkorbit comes at the end. Good luck out there!
Since you are player who also participated in the JPA (even sooner than me) I see you really understand it. We can consider ourselves very very lucky that we won the JPA, because in this event there were a tons of surprises. I can tell you that even if nobody was cheating, everybody will be fair, there weren't any bugs or other shit it would be almost impossible to win. Even if you are the best of the best fighters, you will have few more misses with some lasers (what is part of this game of course and you can't affect on it) you are dead man. But in the time of JPA people were really crazy, brutally cheating, all the time lost connection, bugpoint had trouble all the time with something and I can tell you that I was really raging when some shit like this happened to me. I am really really glad that I won this event and for me it's like a miracle. Good you stopped playing this shitty game, it's definitely worth it. Take care bro))

Many tutorials, music, funny videos etc. Most probably I am not going to continue playing this game again, because Darkorbit had its best era long time ago. You can check my other clips if you want, but many things have changed in Darkorbit since I recorded my videos, so I doubt you can learn how to play darkorbit and apply this knowledge today. Diky moc! :) Ja jsem svuj sen v DO splnil a navic jsem porazil uplne vsechny CZ/SK hrace v DO, na coz jsem celkem hrdej. Je tu ale jedna vyjimka a tou je Dynamex. S nim jsem mel neskutecne vyrovnany souboje a povazuju ho za nejsilnejsiho CZ/SK protivnika. Hele, ja jsem na ty vegete mel snad i lf-3 :DD na tyhle amatery to bohate stacilo. Na tezky konfe jsem mel 739k stitu (456 speed) a 713k stitu na druhy. (576 speed). Ale kolik laseru/stitu v letounech nemam poneti. To je stara scena :) Botovani je urcite super vec, ale v dobach jackpotu stacilo, kdyz jsi mel alespon jeden ban stage za botovani a mel jsi smulu. Ikdybys vyhral, tak prachy ani titul nedostanes...
Nejlepsi je zacit na kruhu a kdyz nekdo pouzije motyla, tak se mu vzdal, aby te nemohl palit. Kazdou vterinu ztrati 1% stitu, coz je dost. Jakmile prepne na jinou formaci, tak do nej nalet a bij ho. Pokud ale porad bude zapinat motyla a HP ti pomalu pujdou dolu, tak pak taky zapni motyla. Pokud jsi porad pod palbou uz od zacatku, tak uz po nekolika vterinach prepni ma motyla. Krab funguje jako uplne nejvetsi nouzovka, ale toho moc nedoporucuju) Jinak litej na solace / saturn. nejlepsi!
So all those tips (of course well-known to experienced players) work in 1v1s... which almost noone does in 2017 anymore. Now whenever you want to dodge an emp/ish, your enemy uses the chance to run to port. So you are forced to run into their ish, emp, and still pray they don't use spectrum or wrongly time the ice rocket. Pointless as it sounds, that's the reality... good luck in real life :-)
I think that even normal players know some of those tips and when I am fighting on a map I usually kill 1/3 players and 2/3 run like a noobs :D Thanks a lot, you too!))

Diky moc!! Souhlasim s tebou kolem 1v1. Atmosfera byla vzdy napjata, byla chvilema i prdel, ale v 90% jsem byl pekelne nasranej, pac malokdy se ta arena obesla bez bugu. Co se mi na tom taky libilo bylo to, ze (az na lagy a vypadky pripojeni) se nikdo nemohl na nic vymlouvat a bojovalo se tam uplne se vsim, co bylo po ruce a to bylo super. Tahle mrdka uba je za prvy mala, za druhy tam nefungujou sutry, nemuzes jit v podstate s kamosem 1v1 atd atd. Jinak 1v1 je fakt k nicemu v tenhle moment a budou hrat vetsi roli skupinovy fighty 3v3, 5v5 atd. ale na to uz chciju :D I tobe hodne stesti! :))
can you make a tutorial about escaping from players 10x stronger than you? (me (no fats, few to none pp, 100K max shields (maybe more), max 3K dmg without seprom on x1, low to none x4 + RSB) vs. enemy (has fats, profile almost complete, a shit ton of shields, up to 120K dmg, has a shit ton of x4 + RSB) - me: destroyed in 2 seconds vs. enemy: not even a scratch)
if you are quitting, at least leave some tips and tricks for new players, that are trying to avoid / escape from players with over 5,000 hours spent in game
If you have LF-2 lasers and you have weak ship, than first of all you must buy the best generators. Fly with some fast ship like vengeance LIGHTNING design for example and if your opponent will slow you down with some slow mine/rocket, you can use ability what will cancel the slowing effect. If your enemy is still chasing you towards radiation zone, then you should consider flying further and let yourself destroy in the radiation zone instead of getting killed by enemy players. When I was fighting on map 3v1 against UFE players, I just slowed them down with freeze rocket and I was flying towards radiation zone. Better to die from radiation than from some player who will have you in logbook :)
Or consider buying spearhead. it has ultimate cloaking ability what will remove you from the map (remove you even from minimap) and make impossible for your opponent to kill you. Dislike for the music :(, anyway I doubt people want JPA to come back, it just sucks that nothing with real money comes back, if they would have a JPA tournament every week where you could win € 100 it would make more people happy while costing less, also reducing the chance that people will take risks by using bots to win just a €100

Thx for your reaction, €100 may not be enough but what about €500, that will still me more than enough and if you divide 10.000 by 500, bigpoint could have 20 tournaments for the exact same cost of the original JPA... Even if you half it there would still be 10 tournaments possible. I guess bigpoint just no longer wants to give out real money, only take it from their customers I mean look at all the recent changes. I don't think it was a bat idea to quit darkorbit...
I will tell you what do I think about the JPA. When darkorbit was starting in 2007/2008 or when it was, there was Jackpot battle since the game was born. There were a lot of ads on the internet: "Join us, you can win up to 10,000 Euro" and thanks to it really a lot of people joined this game. This was the only game I knew, where you could win so much money. So in my opinion it was just marketing. Now they have 100,000,000 users only in Darkorbit and they don't need to offer any JPB or JPA to people. They already gathered a lot of players. They have been receiving millions of Euro for URIDIUM what is basically just bunch of numbers. So the only thing they had to pay was the electricity, some servers, darkorbit staff and many other things. By 2009, Bigpoint reached more than 100 million users (not only darkorbit, also more games from BP) and had a revenue of more than 50 million Euros. I don't know their revenue for now, but 10,000 Euro for them is like 30 cents for you if you can understand me. So they just cancelled the JPA because they were too lazy to fix technical issues, check people if they are cheating or not. In this event there were couple of thousands people monthly what is not so much + you had to be UFE + many other things what 99% DO players didn't have, so that's why they cancelled it. Not so many people give a shit about it...

Ladies and gentleman, This game has become money drainer. What all developers care about is MONEY and only this. The game demands tons of hours or tons of money and that's the reason why bots appeared. I have felt the fairness of Bigpoint by the way they treat to the players, and that was not only 1 time. Some time ago we were 100 players. (ruclips.net/video/-2vl3YNbcHo/видео.html) Many people has stop playing since previous huge update (LF-4, new gates, new formations, new ships, new shits etc). Beside that part, in this game we have met people, make new friendships, with some of them have met in real life and the time we had with friends made us to stay in the game. Most important in this game, like in real life, is the journey and not the goal. We play games for our amusement. For fun. So it needs to be balanced between other things. Real life don't waits, time is flying. So we have to share our time very carefully. Take care. Enjoy your life.

I sold everything 3 years ago for my part, 1V1 are only with luck today and mechanics fucked, only x4 rsb, sab pet and no JPA, this game is only to waste time and dangerous to our life xD
yeah, exactly :D But this game was always about luck since the beginning, but today it's totally unplayable. When I had 1440p or 4K screen, you was getting like 15 - 25 FPS even on the most modern hardware. We did a good thing, we got rid of all. It was nice to play with all of you guys!

Časom väčšina, prepáč nie väčšina, ale všetci starý hráči skončia. Nemá to zmysel, samotná JPA by to síce vylepšila, ale z celkového pohľadu ako sa o hru starajú a aké sú odozvy obvzlášť z našej CZ/SK podpory toto už nemá zmysel. Hra ide do úpadku len preto, že sa huntia po prachoch a dávnejšie normálnym staraním sa o hru ich mali z môjho pohľadu určite viac, keďže lákala viac ľudí. :) Zohľadnil si tu asi všetko, súhlasím s tebou, drž sa! :)

škoda že končíš, o dalšího dobrýho hráče méně :/ jinak bych tam dopsal, že ještě je důležitý mít správně přizpůsobenou rychlou lištu :) to že nějakej JP winner má takovou a takovou lištu je fajn, ale člověk se musí naučit mačkat těch 20 tlačítek poslepu a ne jenom kopírovat lištu někoho cizího, tím že každýmu to vyhovuje jinak :) Jinak ti mohu popřát pouze spoustu štěstí do života a jsem rád, že to hrál někdo jako ty, kdy alespoň 1 čech vyhrál v hustorii JPA :)

No samozřejmost to je, ale hodně lidí jenom bere lištu cizích :D tak v době, kdy byla jenom 1 lišta toho nešlo moc vymyslet ani, ale pak jak byly už 2, tak to bylo něco jinýho. Sám vím když jsem se snažil zkopírovat cizí lištu :DDDD A nakonec jsem si stejně taky musel vymyslet vlastní, na které mi to líp lítalo a došáhl jsem všude prsty :D
To já třeba na c nechal, ale využil jsem herní myš a nastavil jsem si to na kolečko, takže mi stačilo sjet po kolečku a konfa se ihned přepnula, což taky byla velká výhoda pak taky.

I guess it was just graphical bug. I was not dealing any damage to him and that 63k shot was probably some older hit or cumulated damage from PET (13k damage with X4 and 20k damage with RSB)

Yeah, but when players keep quiting one after another we'll run out of good fighters :D For example server that i'm playing on (sk2) is just completely dead and only fights that i can get are those "Veni vidi vici" 2v1s against some bad wallet warriors :D This game has gone from bad to worse since they removed jpa, and i'll probably quit very soon too :P

Let me say someone who didn't got it after playing this game since 10 years must be something wrong there tbh :D but there were still bunch of noobs that still can't understand how this game works. We all knew it would end like that. Why would a company bring it back when people were fucking doing criminal acts against each other (DDOS) to win the damn money or even hacking their Admin systems. When i played this shit and won with my main acc, the fighting level wasn't that high of course but it was fair, people used the ways the game had (Citadel runner tactic). In the end it was just a battle between Bugs and fucking luck. Nowadays it would be even more worse, look at those 1vs1. Ice rocket misses, PLD has been changed and the lag is insane. 1 Miss can decide everything. I can understand the decision of BP but i don't like it either. I also don't like the way the game is going right now. I won't waste all my sundays... What the hell.
Enjoy your reallife, i didn't play for 2 years and this was the best decision i've made. Now i am looking different at things which belong to darkorbit - darkorbit comes at the end.

Since you are player who also participated in the JPA (even sooner than me) I see you really understand it. We can consider ourselves very very lucky that we won the JPA, because in this event there were a tons of surprises. I can tell you that even if nobody was cheating, everybody will be fair, there weren't any bugs or other shit it would be almost impossible to win. Even if you are the best of the best fighters, you will have few more misses with some lasers (what is part of this game of course and you can't affect on it) you are dead man. But in the time of JPA people were really crazy, brutally cheating, all the time lost connection, bugpoint had trouble all the time with something and I can tell you that I was really raging when some shit like this happened to me. I am really really glad that I won this event and for me it's like a miracle. Good you stopped playing this shitty game, it's definitely worth it.

Many tutorials, music, funny videos etc. Most probably I am not going to continue playing this game again, because Darkorbit had its best era long time ago. You can check my other clips if you want, but many things have changed in Darkorbit since I recorded my videos, so I doubt you can learn how to play darkorbit and apply this knowledge today. Diky moc! :) Ja jsem svuj sen v DO splnil a navic jsem porazil uplne vsechny CZ/SK hrace v DO, na coz jsem celkem hrdej. Je tu ale jedna vyjimka a tou je Dynamex. S nim jsem mel neskutecne vyrovnany souboje a povazuju ho za nejsilnejsiho CZ/SK protivnika. Hele, ja jsem na ty vegete mel snad i lf-3 :DD na tyhle amatery to bohate stacilo. Na tezky konfe jsem mel 739k stitu (456 speed) a 713k stitu na druhy. (576 speed). Ale kolik laseru/stitu v letounech nemam poneti. To je stara scena :)
Botovani je urcite super vec, ale v dobach jackpotu stacilo, kdyz jsi mel alespon jeden ban stage za botovani a mel jsi smulu. Ikdybys vyhral, tak prachy ani titul nedostanes...
Ešte jedna otázka.. ako hrať proti hračom, ktorý použivaju falter/motyl.. :D lebo u nas na serveri ma s tým pekne jebú :D
Nejlepsi je zacit na kruhu a kdyz nekdo pouzije motyla, tak se mu vzdal, aby te nemohl palit. Kazdou vterinu ztrati 1% stitu, coz je dost. Jakmile prepne na jinou formaci, tak do nej nalet a bij ho. Pokud ale porad bude zapinat motyla a HP ti pomalu pujdou dolu, tak pak taky zapni motyla. Pokud jsi porad pod palbou uz od zacatku, tak uz po nekolika vterinach prepni ma motyla. Krab funguje jako uplne nejvetsi nouzovka, ale toho moc nedoporucuju) Jinak litej na solace / saturn. nejlepsi!

So all those tips (of course well-known to experienced players) work in 1v1s... which almost noone does in 2017 anymore. Now whenever you want to dodge an emp/ish, your enemy uses the chance to run to port. So you are forced to run into their ish, emp, and still pray they don't use spectrum or wrongly time the ice rocket. Pointless as it sounds, that's the reality... good luck in real life :-)
I think that even normal players know some of those tips and when I am fighting on a map I usually kill 1/3 players and 2/3 run like a noobs :D Thanks a lot, you too!))

Diky moc!! Souhlasim s tebou kolem 1v1. Atmosfera byla vzdy napjata, byla chvilema i prdel, ale v 90% jsem byl pekelne nasranej, pac malokdy se ta arena obesla bez bugu. Co se mi na tom taky libilo bylo to, ze (az na lagy a vypadky pripojeni) se nikdo nemohl na nic vymlouvat a bojovalo se tam uplne se vsim, co bylo po ruce a to bylo super. Tahle mrdka uba je za prvy mala, za druhy tam nefungujou sutry, nemuzes jit v podstate s kamosem 1v1 atd atd. Jinak 1v1 je fakt k nicemu v tenhle moment a budou hrat vetsi roli skupinovy fighty 3v3, 5v5 atd. ale na to uz chciju :D

can you make a tutorial about escaping from players 10x stronger than you? (me (no fats, few to none pp, 100K max shields (maybe more), max 3K dmg without seprom on x1, low to none x4 + RSB) vs. enemy (has fats, profile almost complete, a shit ton of shields, up to 120K dmg, has a shit ton of x4 + RSB) - me: destroyed in 2 seconds vs. enemy: not even a scratch)
if you are quitting, at least leave some tips and tricks for new players, that are trying to avoid / escape from players with over 5,000 hours spent in game
If you have LF-2 lasers and you have weak ship, than first of all you must buy the best generators. Fly with some fast ship like vengeance LIGHTNING design for example and if your opponent will slow you down with some slow mine/rocket, you can use ability what will cancel the slowing effect. If your enemy is still chasing you towards radiation zone, then you should consider flying further and let yourself destroy in the radiation zone instead of getting killed by enemy players. When I was fighting on map 3v1 against UFE players, I just slowed them down with freeze rocket and I was flying towards radiation zone. Better to die from radiation than from some player who will have you in logbook :)

Or consider buying spearhead. it has ultimate cloaking ability what will remove you from the map (remove you even from minimap) and make impossible for your opponent to kill you. Thx for your reaction, €100 may not be enough but what about €500, that will still me more than enough and if you divide 10.000 by 500, bigpoint could have 20 tournaments for the exact same cost of the original JPA... Even if you half it there would still be 10 tournaments possible. I guess bigpoint just no longer wants to give out real money, only take it from their customers I mean look at all the recent changes. I don't think it was a bat idea to quit darkorbit...
I will tell you what do I think about the JPA. When darkorbit was starting in 2007/2008 or when it was, there was Jackpot battle since the game was born. There were a lot of ads on the internet: "Join us, you can win up to 10,000 Euro" and thanks to it really a lot of people joined this game. This was the only game I knew, where you could win so much money.
So in my opinion it was just marketing. Now they have 100,000,000 users only in Darkorbit and they don't need to offer any JPB or JPA to people. They already gathered a lot of players. They have been receiving millions of Euro for URIDIUM what is basically just bunch of numbers. So the only thing they had to pay was the electricity, some servers, darkorbit staff and many other things.
By 2009, Bigpoint reached more than 100 million users (not only darkorbit, also more games from BP) and had a revenue of more than 50 million Euros. I don't know their revenue for now, but 10,000 Euro for them is like 30 cents for you if you can understand me. So they just cancelled the JPA because they were too lazy to fix technical issues, check people if they are cheating or not. In this event there were couple of thousands people monthly what is not so much + you had to be UFE + many other things what 99% DO players didn't have, so that's why they cancelled it. I remember how we fought against the 775 few years ago on eg1 and it was really great time. I don't even remember if we had some 1v1 in the past, but Red bull also learned me a lot and I consider him for one of the best players. Časom väčšina, prepáč nie väčšina, ale všetci starý hráči skončia. Nemá to zmysel, samotná JPA by to síce vylepšila, ale z celkového pohľadu ako sa o hru starajú a aké sú odozvy obvzlášť z našej CZ/SK podpory toto už nemá zmysel. Hra ide do úpadku len preto, že sa huntia po prachoch a dávnejšie normálnym staraním sa o hru ich mali z môjho pohľadu určite viac, keďže lákala viac ľudí. :)

Sám vím když jsem se snažil zkopírovat cizí lištu :DDDD A nakonec jsem si stejně taky musel vymyslet vlastní, na které mi to líp lítalo a došáhl jsem všude prsty :D

To já třeba na c nechal, ale využil jsem herní myš a nastavil jsem si to na kolečko, takže mi stačilo sjet po kolečku a konfa se ihned přepnula, což taky byla velká výhoda pak taky.

Ja si myslim, ze skill na cz/sk je na hodne bidny urovni, pac me nikdo z cz/sk neporazil na skore s kym jsem sel 1v1. Vyjimkou je Dynamex, kterej je fakt vybornej hrac a s nim mam skore vyrovnany. I guess it was just graphical bug. I was not dealing any damage to him and that 63k shot was probably some older hit or cumulated damage from PET (13k damage with X4 and 20k damage with RSB)

Yeah, but when players keep quiting one after another we'll run out of good fighters :D For example server that i'm playing on (sk2) is just completely dead and only fights that i can get are those "Veni vidi vici" 2v1s against some bad wallet warriors :D This game has gone from bad to worse since they removed jpa, and i'll probably quit very soon too :P
