And like in naruto with madara the autor had to pull something out of his ass for the "good guys" defeat the god he himself created... manga spoiler below The man if he wanted could have literally just snapped his fingers and removed the power of all titan shifters but of course he doesn't do that, the alliance fighted with multiple versions of past titan shifters and nobody died during those fights, before they struggled to fight even with one or two titan shifters and theoretically eren saw the future so he knew he would have succeed regardless of anything unless being defeated by the "good guys" was his plan all along. Still hoping for some kinda of twist in the last chapter...
