Ik contact frames aren't neccesary for AM5 but they just make things so neat 😊 can see u changed fan config to not be ram height restricted...his much does this affect thermals compared to the standard height? Cuz there is some tasty 96GB kits that I would love to use but for the 32mm height max 😢
Exactly why i use them, even for those few extra degrees in cooling through a slightly better contact. I did both configs in testing, i moved the fans across and i also did it as you see in the video and impact was minimal, maybe a degree but im putting that down to variance.
Honestly it was the only compatible board we had on hand at the time since our sponsors couldn't get them to us quick enough. The X670E boards especially the Aorus Master is more than capable and with the updated bios has the updated features as on the X870 boards.

How come you're using that chipset with a 9800x3d? why?
