This was a late night set during the Great Went, that took place the morning of August 17. All four members of Phish played keyboards/synthesizers (with occasional vocal forays), sitting on the back of an eighteen-wheeler, which was parked near the entrance to the concert field. There was a small lighting rig. Earlier in the day there were a few thousand rave-style fliers circulating ambiguously advertising a "Disco" featuring MC Neoncellgap, DJ LeMore LaLip, etc, and you can hear some announcements to that effect at the end of the set. Also of note : brief footage of this set can be seen during the film "Bittersweet Motel", during the Great Went "2001" montage.

This here is Phish being Phish, always experimenting and not taking themselves too seriously. I love them for this ❤ I missed this set ( or i was too far gone to realize what was going on) but this was one of the best weekends of my life! Such a liberating experience. Thanks Pharchives, appreciate these videos🫡🤝

I do wonder what their exact equipment during this set was. I assume Page’s Source CS60 were used. But I’m also hearing some familiar casio drum/fx sounds so there could be some of those in the mix.

Wow those manual drums are bad haha. They could have at least used a drum machine to keep time. This is not Disco lol this is noise and I love Phish so much.

@@waveydave6957 but they called it a Disco set and all references i'd seen talked about a dancey electronic set. this is not that lol

Yo, you straight up yanked my footage! I posted this on my RUclips channel back in 2020. Don't really care. I guess just a friendly message asking to use it or some sort of credit would have been nice.
