I agree with basically all the points of the video, I think they should have let you control your companions since that would have made the gameplay not that mindless. Apart from that, mediocre and easy gameplay but good character interactions, it was a damn funny game like 01, but you were right about 02. Now it's time to play classic 3 because I don't know Japanese to play 03 xD
Haha 3 is pretty fun from memory (but it's been so long since I've played). Gameplay wise it's the same as 02 with the automated combat but it's area turn based so it feels a bit better. Have fun it has what the fandom considers one of the hardest bosses in the whole series! Also just a tip there's a certain devil that is pretty crazy for your party and once you get them if you constantly use them it makes battles in the game fairly easy until the late game so abuse the hell out of them unless you want to play hard mode 😎
