Writing out logistics in design flows, going through past research, creating mock-ups which I list in the calendar modules
Lol day in the life’s are not informative anymore just for people to show off like this video gave me no information regarding amazons internship seems like a UX designer more then anybody would know what information is wanted by the target user group 😂

I'm a current college sophomore studying CS and Graphic Design. I plan on enrolling into Springboards UX bootcamp as UI/UX is a career path I actually seem to enjoy and see myself fitting in. It's awesome to see you succeed, and it really gives me a confidence boost towards their program! Just a quick question, would it be best to take the bootcamp the last year of college so I can jump into internships without conflicting college assignments or is it possible to simultaneously take the bootcamp as well as college coursework? I also work and take on other responsibilities, and I have a great amount of motivation, however would the program be a bit too much midway through college? Thanks for your time and keep up the great work!
Hi Ian :) At least for me I decided to take a gap year and dedicate my focus on creating a good UX portfolio. I have a friend at NYU who took the Springboard bootcamp simultaneously with her degree/college coursework. And I think if you put your mind to it, it definitely can be possible to do both- although prioritize the portfolio as that's what you're aiming for. I didn't think I'd be able to get into FAANG in 2 years, but like you I was super motivated. Mind over matter! :)

Great video! On average, how many meetings do you have per day/week?
At least one-two a day. Probably 6-8 a week total that includes check-ins from managers, team meetings additional meetings with our higher-up manager, design critiques that can be an hour, additional meetings to meet other designers, product managers, etc to learn more about what other ppl cross company are up to/what can you learn from :)
If it's a check-in usually lasts 30 min. If it's a design critique with my team it'll be about an hour bi-weekly (once every two weeks).

Hello what programs do you normally work on (I personally work on figma or Adobe xd ) ?and do you code or have any experience with coding?
Figma for sure. All the big tech companies use Figma rather than sketch. I do know how to code a little bit (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) but I don’t code at all at work. I’d still recommend knowing at least the structure of it or how it works bc it for sure helps you work with developers later on

Hey! Yeah def I was in the same boat being in college. I used their Climb credit loan program and took out a loan for the tuition~ Idk if they still use the same vendor but I believe they have possible payment options listed on their website!

Yes you can. For example I have a friend who had a bachelors in psychology but got into Google for UX design

I know that a lot of bootcamps teach the design thinking process, but I was just wondering whether or not you actually practice design thinking in the workplace? A lot of places I've been to talk about design thinking but it's actually never practiced. UX designers are more like UI designers (or maybe I'm unlucky) 🤷♀
Hey! Yes I absolutely did- it’s baked into the nature of what you have to do although the degree you have to be innovative/creative about it (depends on the project) will vary company to company
