What an awesome campsite! Great video and inspiration. I'm ready to go paddle now!
Ya, it's a GREAT trip. Go do it!!
Amazing video!! ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you!!
Great video! Thanks for the inspiration and keep those paddle boarding adventures coming!
Another one coming soon!
Now your talking! Awesome video and what a beautiful place to paddle. That campsite is pretty awesome indeed. This makes me think back to years ago when I first started kayak camping I wish I would have kept it up and branched out and did more exploring, now I'm older and trying to make up for lost time. Well another great video!
Excellent! I knew you’d like it. Check out the Boundary Waters one too.
Cool video! Beautiful country! I just finished my homemade paddle board and am hoping to do a downriver trip with it.
Sounds great!
Looks amazing, man. I lived in Flag for 2 years and never knew about this place. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed!
Wow. Great trip thanks for sharing.
Very cool video, I grew up in th AZ and have been to the BRR many times but have never explored the reservoir like you have. You give me inspiration bro. I paddle but have never paddle camped.
Thanks for that PincheM. Appreciate the positive feedback!
perfectly!
Nice video and trip! Good luck with more adventures!
Thanks! You too!
😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💃🏾☺️👍🏻yeeeeeeeeeeeah!!!
Great video man. Love the area. I just purchased a paddleboard. I'll be filming too.
Very cool! Welcome to the SUP community!
I like the way you have the paddle board set up, how about a video on the set up.
Sure, Will get on that.
Check out the video I posted under the SUP playlist covering the Bartlett Lake paddle trip. I talk about the set up in there. Let me know if you want to know more.
Great video! I just started a new channel about me being an average guy going on adventures. I definitely will be checking out the rest of your videos. Awesome stuff keep it up!
Nice! Welcome and be sure to subscribe!
thanks for sharing!but isn't the paddle should face another direction ? like backwards?
Ha! You mean the handle should be in the water? No, the paddle itself is facing correctly.
4XPEDITION no, you’re paddle is actually flipped it should be the opposite more like a flipped spoon
Yeah your paddle is the wrong way round. Nice video though.
No that's the correct paddle orientation
@@michaelivgy5675 His paddle is the correct way around. The bend in the paddle end should be pointing fowards so by the time its in line with the hip its reached the greatest point of forward momentum in line with the bodies greatest potential for generating momentum.
the filming and music were great. I'm planning on doing this trip in about a week, and also solo. I was looking at a map and I don't see much parking. did you launch from the primitive boat ramp?
Yes. There is plenty of parking. It is about two switchbacks up above the boat ramp. There is only one ramp. You are going to just love this trip. Let me know how it goes as I would also like to revisit this this year.
Just ordered my first Sup and would like to try that one day some cool places. How do you park your car there for a few nights and which recreation pass do you need?
Honestly, I don't think I had a pass. Just parked there. But, I think a typical National Forest pass works.
Awesome trip! How do you balance without flipping on the board with all that gear?
It's actually not that difficult once you get the hang of it. You should see when I add my 40 lb dog as well! Standup Paddling works your core muscles.
what kind of paddle do you use or recommend for people who want to paddle 5 plus miles
I just use the paddle that Bote sells. It’s ultralight
4XPEDITION yeah I cut mine and it works 👍🏾. It is light and strong
I still haven't been to BRR but a paddle camping trip there has been on my to do list for too long, so hopefully it will come together this summer. That camp site you found looks amazing and I think I might have an idea of where it is. Don't post it publicly here though. :-) Based on your trip there, do you know if there are a reasonable amount of other areas that someone could camp off the shore like that?
Ya, I would say there are about 10 camp spots or so.
They are scattered up and down the shoreline in both directions of the put-in.
HI, great video. Very nice trip and equipment!
One thing: You have your paddle facing the wrong side, Go check it out.
Actually don’t think so thanks though.
We’re going camping at Blue Ridge in a couple of weeks, where exactly did you camp? You think there’s a spot for our trailer?
There is a campground above the lake for trailers. Where I camped you can only get to by canoe. Have fun!
@@4XPEDITION Where about on the lake is that spot? Sick video!
@@skateitman00 Gosh to explain it would be difficult. It is in the direction past the dam. Probably about 3/4 way to the end of the lake in that direction on a point on the left side of the lake when you are headed out.
Awesome I'm gonna purchase that same board soon I hope. How do you like it?
I absolutely love this board. Very satisfied with performance, style, accessories, etc.
4XPEDITION good to hear I can't wwaaiiitt 😁😁😁😁
Just an update. I did purchase this board absolutely love it and the customer service from BOTE is incredible. If anyone reads this and is thinking of getting this board do it.
If I asked you to pin point on a map where you think that campsite is could you do that for me?
Hey there. Sorry but I make it a point not to disclose exact locations. This way it keeps the traffic to a minimum and if you find it then that’s part of the adventure. Best to you!
Is that by Flaggstaff ?
It is essentially Southeast of Flagstaff by a fairly large distance. More or less north of Strawberry near Clint's Well.
How far in did you go in?
All the way in. From the boat launch I went left past the dam and to the end.
Work on your handheld shots...giving me vertigo.
LOL. When you watch the channel you will see some older videos and some new. That video is old. My whole channel is filmed with an iPhone. I am now on the iPhone 11 Pro Max which has a stabilizer.
