Hi Malathi, we have your answer; Basically, boilerplate code is simply a duplication of the same or similar code. for example, when we write code for exceptions we reuse the same kind of syntax and code and often we just end up copy-pasting the same code again and again. If we made a mistake somewhere in that code or might have changed the name of one of the parameters then we have to go to each and every part of that copied code and make changes which is a tedious job. This is why boilerplate code is considered code disadvantageous.
