Mann Just An Awesome Video and Very Helpful. Thank you!!! 💯💯 Do you have a video on fuel pumps lph to go with the injection size etc... I am working on a project car and I am trying to make sure I get things flowing together right.
I've always explained to people that the ECU has a set number of steps, say 256, to control the fuel delivery with. So, if you are using a 600hp injector in a 300hp application, you only have half of the fuel control available. I.e.you are only going to utilise half of 256. The greatest results come from the smallest practical injector.
Hello. I’ve watched almost all your videos. They’re very engaging and interesting. I want to learn tuning with HP Tuners. Currently, I’m working on tuning my Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. I’ve replaced the intake manifold and also installed injectors from the 6.4 Hemi engine. I wanted to ask you how to adjust the injectors, as I'm having trouble with it. I’ve followed your videos before and had success, but I can’t seem to find anything about injector adjustments and settings. Everything else is working well. I wanted to do it myself, and I’ve made some progress-the engine starts now, but it still runs a bit rough. Could you help me with adjusting the injectors?
Injectors are sized in CC or grams/min. Your BSFC is way off also, it's g/kwh. Duty cycle is ideally around .2-.25% for max efficiency. 0.8 is just the limit, you aren't supposed to size them on that number.
So lets say I have a N/A engine that actually makes 550hp which only requires 42lb injectors, but my my future HP goal is 650hp. Can I just start out with a 50lb or maybe even 60lb just in case I go over ny future 650hp. I only want to buy 1 set of injectors. Can I buy the 60lbs from the beginning if I only have 550hp currently? Kind of like room to grow 🤔
YES. And I take a much simpler Approach than this guy's video. Injector size times sixteen for Is naturally aspirated regular gas. I've seen When richard holder Does test on junkyard LS Starting with an injector that will Supply the final test of say 12-15 lbs boost. You just have to tune for it. Don't ask me how to do that. Os I would be running my 93lb I purchase from snake Eater for my future turbo. ✌️
@@kevinwest3689got a question if you can help me out what i would like to know is if i have a 16 nozzle injector plate will that change the injector size let's say that a 50lb injector is good for 1000hp do it make a difference if its 8 or 16 just as long as its a 50lb injector so to say im trying to make 1000hp to 1500hp roots blown on pump gas to 104 octane and methanol down the road for the 1500hp
@@dewaynemitchell3931 i believe the 16 × injector size in for 8 Cylinder Equation. A 50lb injector × 16 would = Capable Supporting 800hp 93 Octane. But. That would have to be one hell of a Engine. Like a 414 Stroker or a big block. To do that with say a 6.0. I (think?), You wouldn't need to be running e85. That changes the hole Equation. You can get the information from people that sale injectors, or like in a summit or jegs parts book. I'm not sure on the second half of your question, anything I halfway understand. @@kevinwest3689 hey thanks for the reply im pretty much learning as i go to was getting confused on the injector part because to my understanding it was based on 8 injectors example again if a 50lb injector can support up to 1000hp if i got 16 do i use 16 25lb instead of 8 50lb i was really going for the 1500hp+ on range on methonal but hearing how corrosive it is and how you cant leave it in your tank for days and how it eat your lines up i said no thanks maybe only when i take it to the track every now and then im getting the bottom half built like a tank i got one of those oldsmobile 350DX diesel blocks they got those big block mains got a bryant billet 4" stroker crank billet 4bolt main caps arp studs custom crankshaft billet hogan racing manifold custom cp forged pistons instead of small block i got big block olds edelbrock heads littlefield 8-71 hi helix with 18 point teflon stripping with dela bottom and big and ulgy efi injector hat with 4 3/8 butterflies im hoping to get at least 1000hp on either sunoco 260gtx(98 octane none ethanol)or sunoco 260gt(100 octane) or sunoco gtx plus(104 octane) but i feel you about the piggy bank mine done put a restraining order against me
I'm starting to understand why alot of the v twin guys add extra injectors to their motorcycles. For a turbo v twin making 200whp your looking at some pretty big injectors.
I typed out my own formula. This was great information! Thank you 🙏
Great information 👍

Could you help me with adjusting the injectors?
I mistakenly installed low flow injectors on my 2015.gmc.sierra 6.2 , it had nominal flow before, can i tune to make them work or not?
Awesome video, thanks Subscribed
So my LU47s are to small for the 730CHP?. I have a Roush stage3. 2015 phase2 , with a BAP. Using this formula my injectors a way to small
Mine too
Awesome video
Gow doe that relate to cc's of injector flow?
So what you're telling me is that my ID1300X is not enough to run 750hp on E85 with a V6? :(

My car must be in serious trouble. It makes 699whp with a 56lbs injector.
