The school's filming location is a place I went to retreats growing up and is the place I imagined when I read this book for the first in high school. I got to be an extra in the basketball scenes. My husband is even playing Tim Simon's double. I am so invested in this story. I cannot wait for October 18th.

@@BLUEBOYLUGOS Tim had to leave Louisiana for a few days throughout the series because he was doing press for veep at the time! My husband was there for some of the halloween basketball scenes. He knocks on the dorm door with a flashlight at one point.
This was like the best adaptation ever
i love how kristine and charlie just whisper to each other throughout it, you can really tell how well the cast gets along with each other :,) im so excited for when the show comes out i already love the cast so much ohmy

I read this book years ago and I’m soooo stoked that they’re finally making a live adaptation of it !! I love almost all of John Greens books . He’s an amazing author ❤️
I remember me and my friends making this book into a music video for "Stephanie Says" by The Velvet Underground, because we wanted an adaption of this book so badly! I am so glad all of this is happening!

i gotta be honest, so far i'm really not a big fan of the casting for this series :/
I don't know if this gives you hope but the actors are really good in other stuff and they LOVE the material. Kristine was actually told to audition for the part and John said he cried when he saw the audition. Also the actor who plays Coronel memorized big chunks of the novel because he was so into the character.
I get it if you're still skeptic, though. It's just good to know the people making it really care.
@@Carlos-ln8fd For me, I love that Alaska is curvy. There aren't that many leading ladies who are curvy in a "good" way. So I'm a bit disappointed that they missed finally having representation for that body type.

It’s weird that I’m so pumped for the show considering how much of a disappointment the book was to me (whoops sorry)
I just can't wait for it to be premiered! I mean I super-love web series and you definitely go crazy when you get to know that there's going to be a web series that's about a book written by your favourite author, I mean, loads of love to the book, the web series, the cast, everything and everyone!
