Engie swarms will remain for two reasons: Habit (of course), and fluidity. If you increase your factory build capacity with engineers, then you can easily reassign them to another type of factory or job if need be. But if you build several high tech factories, then all that build power stays with the factories. I imagine a lot of players will want to be able to switch from, say, naval to air production quickly and smoothly even if it does mean dealing with engie swarms.

Gyle... The UEF T-4X Experimental Land Factory is an direct firing unit and experimental. Why so is that? Well it range radius is red and not pale yellow and does not have such a high pitch tolerance. Now... Do you get that?
I think the percies are at a good standing atm, but the sniper bots for phim and aeon have been showing their uselessness in the wake of the engymod while the brick and percies have been shining. I hope they get a good buff soon as they are total crap atm.

awesome game and i totally agre a stat nerf of the perci would be very davastating, as percis got their only advantages to bricks and othuum through range and more burst. so any stat nerf would put them far to close to bricks and othuum mass per mass.

I think engie mod should affect fatboy. It's a T3 mobile land factory after all, so it should be HQ. May be it would be better to put HQ upgrade on it, increase its building speed and decrease percivals' building speed on simple T3 factories. That will make fatboy more usefull and balance percivals.
Restorers aren't cost effective enough to mass produce, and you can spam ASF's much faster. ASF's will always overwhelm Restorers unless there are ridiculous amounts of Restorers

I was just evaulating my thoughts on the single player storyline of the co allition forces having to with multiple enemy cotingencies such the order of the illuminate and QAI's rouge state due to seraphim techinal corruption thats was in the first sequel of Supreme Commander The Infinite War. When "Mach" was somehow corrupted by seraphim tech.
People don't 'moan' about not being able to spam engies, they moan about the fact that it is a gameplay change, and you said it yourself, before they wanted t2 factories in the front, now its in the back. It _IS_ a _strategical_ change and I don't understand why so many are in favor of it. If the amount of engies are a problem cut down on the unit cap and give facttories the possbility of a build power upgrade.

The end game eco of Team 1 was insane, turning out units and re-building faster than Team 2 could nuke...impressive.
