All I think is Causthicc’s heirloom fits him but I do agree it makes you feel slow, but so menacing.
Yeah that’s true, but with caustic you mostly play in buildings, and then it feels pretty badass

i remember when crypto's heirloom was announced and i was like "if there isnt an equip annimation where he flips it out like the folding sword in dishonored ill be very disappointed" and im so glad they included it. its rare but im always happy to get it when i do

Personally I find the weight of caustics hairloom to be part of the reason it’s cool, caustic’s a weighty guy and moves slow and menacingly in his finishers so a big heavy hammer was a perfect fit for him.

as a wattson main … I’m biased but I love her heirloom. I was so disappointed in it at first and didn’t get it until a season or so after it came out but it’s grown on me so much. I love how she sometimes drops it when she runs away, I love her giggle, the stickers on it, the games, THE NESSIE… it’s so fitting. also very satisfying hitting people over the head with it.

As a wattson main you should know how bad it is as an heirloom, it feels like they forgot her family existed, just mom and "funny nessie" her dad is a big part of her story and hes just gone, no mention of him, it could at least be a toy he made for her, but no, just a quirky funni gun with a silly nessie

Revenant claims the crown of best heirloom,as someone who owns it,I was very impressed with it when I first bought it,it deserves S+ plus tier,while I am a little bored with it,mainly because I personally think it could use a little more animations,I still love it,also because I use predatory instinct,and when I first got it,unholy beast,the scythe goes hand in hand with the wendigo look for both skins,all in all Revenant’s heirloom is,no question,without shadow of a doubt,the best heirloom in Apex Legends,at least for now,but my in list,it will forever remain the best

See I love revenants heirloom and I own it. But there is one other heirloom I own that I’ve declared better than revenants (even though his is easily the second best.) which is cryptos. The sound design on cryptos jikido is orgasmic, and the animations are probably the best animations for an heirloom, it’s fun and has some of his backstory. It’s the perfect heirloom in my opinion.

Mirage's heirloom was the first heirloom I got and I love it with the inspects and voicelines. It will always be a S tier heirloom for me lol

Ramparts is my favorite. Simply becuase of the animation of her tossing it when she crouches along with the sound it makes. Those two weeks the heirloom glitch was a thing I used it so much.

Mirage heirloom finally being recognized as S tier. Thank you Macro. (also Valkyrie Heirloom is easy S+ tier. The reason why it's not more Viper or TF2 related is because it's the entire point of the character even in her voice lines she says she wants to build her own future and not just be known as "Viper's daughter" or live in his shadow.)
She even says she's making her own legacy in her heirloom inspect with viper's helmet lol

As a Wattson main I am disappointed but your appraisal of all the heirlooms was fair. Her heirloom fits her personality and I was over the moon when I got it by chance on my birthday last summer. Looking forward to Mad Maggies cos I play her when I am pissed off.... and I feel her heirloom will be brutal.

Lobas heirloom is so good. The inspect while running is so satisfying.

wraiths heirloom got new inspect animations, making it even cooler
i don't agree with you about lobas heirloom because it has so much potential and the animations are sick. the door breaking animation is so good and how she spins the heirloom is so good! also when you change from gun to heirloom she picks it up so good/clean. the heirloom voice lines when you kill someone is so good! the heirloom is the perfect size for playing, so it's not too big. also the pink animations when you hit someone or for example a door is so nice! fits perfectly loba

Revenant bias is insane here. Valks also underrated
I agree with Octane’s heirloom replacing the regular stim, the only problem is that they’d have a hard time explaining how he melees while stimming, or he’d just have to punch like a normal poor boi 🤷♂️
I don't really get why Wattsons heirloom gets so much hate it matches her character just as much as any other. its an energy reader plus the animations are so good and she has such a smooth running inspect animation

I still feel like Wattsons heirloom is so underrated it fits Wattson perfect that's why I think its underrated ,solid B+ or A!
Idk if you ever saw the revenant third person animation, he looks MENACING, doing damn turns and spins, swinging his axe with the sick particle effects
I feel like he graded wattson a little unfairly just because of what it was expected to be. I main wattson and I find it very enjoyable to use the heirloom. Plus it would have definitely gotten hate if it was just the nessi plush
Wraith's heirloom is the most simple and mid there is, it should be in F tier
Caustics should be in C tier along with bloodhounds
Gibby's heirloom is A tier specially since it allows you to see the shield in first person! Which is useful with all the different ones he gets

What do you think Fade's Signature Weapon would be on this tier list?
From Valorant??? If so I think it could be some cool mace like thing where the ball is her tether ability (if ur talking about a different character than this probably makes no sense to you)
I never tried any heirloom so I couldn't really tell how they actually feel, but I like Wattson's one because it looks like it would feel the most intuitive to use. It look short ranged, but with a little extra reach and stickiness because of the electricity , it's also very wide visually, the looks just fit how Apex melees feel most of the time, it translates well. That's why I also think Valk's one looks really akward, it looks so long ranged but heirlooms don't really change the range so it would feel kinda weird that you can't reach as far as the weapon really could.

I am so incredibly torn between Rev and Octane's heirloom as a person who mains and loves both characters on all fronts: Personality, gameplay, voicelines and lore.
Rev's heirloom is easily in the same spot you've put it for me as well but I feel like if they just gave Oc's a bit more love, a few more animations and especially the ability to stim using the knife from time to time it would easily be at the top as well. Hopefully I'll make up my mind when I get the shards lol

Revenants heirloom became even better with his new inspects, plus they made it fold up on his back when holstered which looks SO MUCH cleaner…I regret not waiting for it 😭
The only one I have is octane I got his last season had the game since the beginning but didn't take the game seriously until season 5 octane fits so well and i love the flip he does whenever you slide I just wish the split his super long inspect and broke it up to 3 separate animations while adding a 4th

Mostly agree with this list. Loba is a bit higher for me just because I’ve always been a fan of Kitana and I think she’s a good fit.

Totally unrelated but related. Lore wise I do believe it’s stated mirage is actually the most successful legend with the highest win rate to where both bloodhound and Bangalore respect his combat capabilities and crypto refers to his engineering skills.
