PiP in Firefox has the best experience compared to Chrome, Brave and Edge. One media feature that is missing in Firefox that is available in Chrome and Brave is Global Media Control on the toolbar. It makes it super easy to control the media controls when multiple tabs are open. I really hope Firefox brings that as a built-in feature without the need to install a 3rd party extension. I really hope someone from Firefox sees this comment and considers it.

Whoa, the screenshot actually captures the _entire_ page that's been loaded, including the parts that you'd see when you scroll down.

Firefox has now become my main browser thanks to youtubes war on ads. Ive deleted chrome. I refuse to watch ads longer than 5 seconds. I will take a slow youtube experience than one with ads ANY DAY.
And if firefox was smart they’d start pushing the right to not want ads in your face every 5 minutes and emphasize that google is all about that and what a difference it makes.

And one tip for pages with static elements when you are trying to take a screenshot is to make sure to scroll back all the way to the top before downloading the image, otherwise those static elements will screw up the screenshot.
Do you know how to screenshot scrollable areas embedded inside a website?
Or why sometimes the download of the screenshot just fails? (sometimes on amazon)

e ne sais pas trop où vous écrire, mais ... je souhaiterais vous faire une suggestion d'évolution pour Firefox (si ce n'est pas déjà dans vos cartons ;)). Étant donné que les futures CPUs auront des NPUs et qu'un certain nombre d'ordinateurs possèdent des cartes graphiques plus ou moins puissantes, est-il possible que vous envisagiez, un jour, d'évoluer Firefox vers une "autre dimension" de la navigation internet ?
Je m'explique. Gérer la sécurité contre les attaques provenant de sites peu fiables, maintenir un contrôle parental, éviter d'être submergé par les publicités et ne pas être traqué en permanence sur le web... Tout cela est une véritable galère. Serait-il envisageable de créer un internet dans Firefox qui regrouperait un mini LLM, avec un petit modèle comme Mistal ?
Le but serait d'avoir une fenêtre dédiée où l'on pose sa question, et où l'IA irait sur les sites mentionnés pour nous restituer le texte demandé. Par exemple :
"Bonjour, pouvez-vous me donner une liste de sites d’actualités scientifiques, s'il vous plaît ?"
Il donne la liste.
"Pour le site n°4, pourriez-vous me donner les titres du jour, s'il vous plaît ?"
Il donne la liste des titres.
"Pourriez-vous me fournir un résumé de l'article n° 3, s'il vous plaît ?"
Il fournit un résumé, indiquant s'il y a des photos/images/sons, vérifiant si les images proposées ne sont pas choquantes (en fonction de l'âge de l'utilisateur).
On lui demande d'afficher l'image et/ou le texte complet.
Il nous fournit le texte et les images, mais ne les reprend pas directement ; il crée une image de l'image et copie/colle le texte.
Ainsi, aucun risque de récupération ou d'exécution de code malveillant sur l'appareil.
L'IA utilise un VPN comme Tor ou autre de son choix et ne laisse aucune trace de son activité.
Fin de l'exemple.
Ceci n'est qu'un exemple, mais nous pourrions ainsi transformer cette "poubelle" qu'est devenu Internet en quelque chose de sécurisé pour les simples mortels. Je pense surtout aux enfants, afin de les protéger des individus peu recommandables qui traînent sur le net. Cependant, il est tout aussi important que cela ne porte pas atteinte à la liberté de recherche.

The only thing preventing me to switch to firefox if the lack of chrome tab groups.
Brave has but firefox feels smoother.
That and when moving tabs around, firefox leaves an empty tab window when out of tabs that you have to close manualy.
Pretty neat presentation. Been using some of those features for a while and have a paid FF sub - not because I need it, just to support the 'zilla.

Unfortunately, my favorite built-in features of Firefox are not listed in the UI.
You need to tweak them in about:config manually:
- browser.search.openintab -> true
- browser.urlbar.openintab -> true
After enabling these two features, you don't need to manually create new tabs or press combo keys anymore.
Just type what you need, hit enter, and voila!
- browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs -> true
open bookmarks in a new tab.
- browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab -> false
closing all tabs will not close the entire window.
- browser.tabs.closeTabByDblclick -> true
double-click the tab to close the tab.
- browser.backspace_action -> 0
press the backspace key to go back to the previous page (the old-fashioned way).
All of the above features are impossible for Chromium-based browsers to achieve (even with extensions), or they are very unreliable.
Reader View is the best feature!
I have a question... About 6 months ago I switched from Chrome to Firefox, however one thing has been bugging me. You cannot install Chrome extensions. Please make it easier to have Chrome extensions on Firefox...

Firefox Relay prevents tabbing between username and password fields, breaking KeePass' autotype function, which is very annoying.
It's a dealbreaker for me.

It does, I both added and tested quite a few by now, v2(visible and not) and v3 - everything worked in ff.
Either you are doing something wrong or recapcha on your site is a bit broken.

Ne yazık ki Windows 7 kullanan biri olarak artık geri bildirim konusunda hiç bir faydam dokunamıyor.
Eskiden ister kendi dilimde, istersem de İngilizce olarak kolayca hamburger menüsünden geri bildirimde bulunabilirdim.
2017 gibi yeni gelen yönetimden sonra aklıma gelen, başımıza da geliyor gibi.
Önce tam tema desteği çekildi, daha sonra da en önemli özellikler birer birer Chrome'a benzemeye başladı ve artık tıpkı KIRO tarayıcıda olan geçmişi silme tuşunu menüler arkasına saklama gibi, Firefox'ta geribildirim gibi özellikleri zorla saklamaya başladı.
Sanırım eleştiri de kabul etmiyorlar. :/
Sen yıllarca emek ver ve onların ürününü kullanıp, geri bildirimlerle geliştirip, dağıt, ondan sonra gördüğümüz muameleye bak !
Firefox bu yıl sonunda ESR desteğinide kaldıracağını söylüyor Windows7 kullaıcılarına.
Sanırım tek çare Palemoon gibi alternatiflerine yönelmek olacak.
