Awesome to see a close-up of my boat (with the dead cordyline wilting on the bow) just before you said “it smells strongly of poo”…. Hope you’re enjoying boat life in the area. I’ve just realised I saw you feeding the swans on Foxglove as I moved my boat out of the paint shed at the marina a few weeks ago but hadn’t put 2+2 together.
It looks a beautiful area Maybe the best strategy for revealing a particular location is only to mention where you have been with your boat after you have moved on to a different location
Hi Lorna. Nice to you about in Leicestershire. Used to live in Lutterworth, not far from Foxton Locks where I spent many a great day at. With regards to your mooring around there, I agree keep it to yourself... keep safe. Will look forward to the vlogs of your journey with your new boat... 🤗😊
It's always worth approaching landowners on the offside of the cut, to see if they'd be happy with you mooring there. It's often cheaper than staying in a marina.
How exciting to be looking for a base, but I see what you mean about your location reveal indecision. I suppose it is a bit easier for content creators who are constant cruisers as they are always on the move, and vids that reveal their locations are usually filmed a few weeks in advance so they preserve their privacy that way. I'll be interested to see what your eventual solution will be 😊
Brilliant walk, I wouldn't walk a 100 miles to London lol I would agree to keep it where your Mooring private but the reason if you do that I do agree with and wouldn't blame you taking the fun away
Hi Lorna, Market Harbrough is a very nice town to live by, I think you would like it there. It seems to be a friendly area. One of the deciding factors would be the mooring fees. Good luck with whatever you decide on. Bye for now, Jon B.
Keeping your boat in a marina would be the safest option , even if the weirdos find your boat there will be some kind of security there to discourage them.
I find your thoughts about making your place public very interesting! Being only a consumer of youtube, I still have come across several situations where, in comments or chats on this very platform, I had to make clear where I'm from. And it is always quite a decision how much you actually tell about yourself. Even more so, when you are a creator of content! However, your little pink boat with a name that everyone knows (who watches this channel at least) will probably stick out quite a bit, anyway. Wow! What a decision! Trying to imagine myself in your situation, I am at least as undecided as you are...
You chose a beautiful day for your trip.Thankfully the towpath was relatively dry and you didn't mess up your colourful shoes .
Walked that section few years back from Mkt Hbro station to Foxton for pub lunch…

Really pleased to see this! I grew up in the village of Foxton in the 1970s and the canal was my playground, so this brought back many happy memories.
It looks a beautiful area

so peaceful. what a perfect day
Thank you for a wonderful video, Miss Lorna! God Bless!
What a lovely walk!
Head towards North Kilworth Wharf or Marina. Easy to get to from the Station, so getting away would be no issue.
Look lovely just beautiful. May you cruise in Foxglove in the best of health.

Nice, there’s a saying, “Don’t tell em, Don’t tell em”
0:43 That moment when you suddenly wonder if there is going to be a special guest appearance from 'Perserverance'.
Fantastic video and excellent narration❕️👈😍👉 👀

I'd constantly worried about vandalism or worse, leaving my boat moored 2 hours away by transport.
Looks really nice. Cool name too!
My feet are smarting, just thinking of walking 5 miles of gravel path, in just trainers.

100 miles wow! Use your best shoes...
Maybe the general area but not the actual location?
Declaring where you hide your boat? Go for the plausible denial approach.
