the crazy thing that Jerm doesn't give himself credit for is his own distance. he is up there with elite distance, it just doesn't always go where he wants it too. over the last couple years his backhand has gotten more accurate, alot more.
I dont see any other comments yet on this, so thank you!! We are getting a full 18 hole practice round!!! And it felt more like the OG practice rounds where we actually got hear your decision making on good shots vs bad shots.
So refreshing. Loved it. This is why I loved the practice rounds to begin with. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Though I really wanted Gannon to yell to Jerm "You're not my real dad!"
Jerm mentions at 15:23 he wants a motor driven cart, there is a rule against it. No animals, motor-driven or bicycle-type devices shall be allowed as a carrying device at any PDGA events."
This might be the best practice round of the year. All the dumb jokes, AB struggling to get a disc out of the tree, the kids making fun of jerm, just a great time overall.
Wore my Pappy Sexton Birdie Elixir tee last week and had a guy do a double take and go, "Is that about when the fox pissed in the disc at the practice round?" I have no idea who he was. I was at a gas station. Complete stranger. 🤣
Im 6 5 and had a conversation with Jerm and Jay Yeti Reading once at Texas States. The next year, found myself chatting with Brodie Smith and Scott Stokely.
@@ETXB I did a 8hr private class with Scott Stokely last summer. I learned so much. Added 150ft to my backhand and 100ft to my forehand THAT DAY!!! And I'm making 80% of my putts within the circle and 60% within circle 2! I am starting to do tournaments this year in my local area and already won the first one I entered.

And I always feared I would be his next because he always talked to me and said weird things to me... thankfully, he quit after working at the job for 3 months...
I like this. Obviously miss uli / nate. But this felt more barebones, back to the roots. Not over-the-top antics or goofing around but a good friendly round with some light goofs here and there :)
"My dad forced me to do this hole breakdown" omg this whole F9 was hilarious.. My favourite mic'd up practice rounds have been the unusual ones, like this one, or best shot doubles with Paige, or the one with Nikko (unusual guest).
Gannon, I don’t know if you read all the comments, but I’m sure I speak for almost everybody when I say: Bravo. I couldn’t have dreamed of being so mentally focused at your age, and your composure and supportive personality make you a great representative for the sport. Keep it up.
Turfs work perfect even on wet days, but you actually need to install em the right way round. This round some of them gripped hard apparently and some were slick. Sounds like some of em are backwards.
Cool to see AB and GB on a practice round. Never see AB much outside of just the normal coverage. Cool to see a little more personality and to get to know who these guys are a little more when not competing at the highest level.
Great to hear that the young guys like the technical courses. This course is very boring to watch. So many shoots / holes look the same. Throw something far, the trees / fairway look the same on every hole, 2nd shoot, throw something far, the trees still look alike everywhere - oh there is a basket, throw it there, putt. Next hole - same again. If I watch a coverage on a course like Dela, WR Jackson, or Maple Hill I can immediately tell the holes apart, each one is unique. I don't care, that they cant pack very many spectators in there. For watching it live or post produced these courses are way better than the golf courses. And I think that the players also prefer to play the non-golf-courses.
Jomez you made it on Joe Rogan podcast today! Congrats on your success and being a big wave that has helped pushed disc golf to be bigger and better than ever.
Fav tee pad are recycled tire mulch pad. Its not loose mulch like wood, its a formed sheet of textured recycled rubber tire. Good grip in all weather. Sustainable too
This has "cool uncle realizing he's not that cool anymore" energy and I love every minute of it.
Hearing Gannon and Anthony dropping words like "sus" and "sweat" to rib Jerm had me laughing so hard.
I'm twice Gannon's age (and throw half as far), but artificial turf on concrete that might be wet from sprinklers is pretty sus.
It’s sheesh but I get what your saying
Don’t forget Baca lol
I love a god rack of ribs
Og fr fr
After watching this, I wanna see Gannon and Calvin play a mic'd up round together someday
yea they sorta have the same humor hey
Calvin would get in his head immediately and destroy him mentally
Jerm's reaction on hole 1 when Gannon says 'want me to tap in' and he's got a long putt, but makes it...Jerm's shoulder drop is priceless.
This whole episode felt like a fever dream, I loved it
the crazy thing that Jerm doesn't give himself credit for is his own distance. he is up there with elite distance, it just doesn't always go where he wants it too. over the last couple years his backhand has gotten more accurate, alot more.
I was crying when Gannon said “the focus on this cheap camera is trash” 😂😂😂

Big Jerm looking like he’s on vacation in Florida, diggin’ it. Even more fitting that he’s the old guy on the card.
Dude is lookin good
He losin' weight. I see you, Jerm.
I think "Florida Vacation" was already his signature look. Lol
He had to get a big camper and a truck instead of a van so he could have enough room for all his belts and outfits. Haha
Anthony is pure comedy gold, and I’m here for all of it!
Jerm “215 for the reference”
AB “so…..firebird?”
Had me dying lol 😂
I forget how young AB is still. I could see him being a World Champion one day!!
yeah, kid is just warming up! hes still in school!
AB has sneaky distance he is in the 70mph+ club.
@@iheartdiscgolf I wouldn't call it sneaky. It's pretty obvious..😂

this is such a well done hole breakdown. Bring Anthony on more often.
he's very smooth. He's going places!

Gannons first few “tap ins” actually shook me to my core… to have your putting stroke THAT dialed, horrifying
The kid is locked in
Gannon without pressure is the best putter in the world.
@@gnarwhalnoah so when gannon grows up and gets some more mental fortitude from experience...
Best opening to date AB: We are going to throw farther than you
Gannon: I'm going to play like trash.
AB has the best hole breakdowns
It honestly feels weird seeing 2 guys standing next to jerm and being eye to eye with him

that giant pile of discs at hole one is amazing haha so many throws into the water over the last week between am tourney and practice rounds
"and that team stamp will make It a bit more overstable" - AB 😂😂
I was so sad that Jomez didn’t get to commentate Dela. I was looking forward to it so much!
They don’t do any Silver Series, only Elite
philo was killing it imo
@@Leafshockey3 LEET
Philo and Ian killed it, but there just ain’t nothing quite like the jomez commentary
Yeah but I really like the announcers they got (central coast guy & Philo), took me back to the earlier days of coverage watching central coast.
Gannon’s attitude gives me an aneurism
So AB's humor is a lot more underplayed than I thought. Content with AB and Calvin would have me glues to the sceen all day.
No way you got 2 of my favorite players in the practice round!! I’m so excited for this
Jem out here getting bullied by his sons. Literally the funniest practice round I have seen!

Oh my god after this practice round someone could make a father/son compilation with Jerm and Gannon😂😂
The "Big Cannon" family!
They need to get the young guns on more. Their banter is gold. Especially when they have older players to give shit for being “old”
I got to meet Gannon at DDO, he said “I’ll have to win one soon.” And he did!
Love to see this! AB is always fun to watch throw.
Really wanted him to get that ACE on skins! Sooooo close!
“My dad forced me to do this hole break down” is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time.

Gannon complaining about the tees… Tees that cost 10 grand lol. Guess it’s back to the drawing board
That was my first though too, $15000 of dirt and 1300 man hours to have someone complain about them in one of the first course previews.
Gannon's Josh Anthon impersonation at 27:25 is great!
Jerm getting called a sussy baka made my day
The actual winner here... that blonde gimbal op, dude killed it.
Gannon saying "the tees are sus" is what motivates me to get out of bed in the morning.

Jerm, that's a nice shirt! Unfortunate, that a senior citizen is currently missing curtains from their trailer.
Is it just me or is Jerm looking slimmer?
Gannthony Buhrella 🤣
This is Awesome seeing this after they have progressed.... Gannon has the perfect disc golf body in my apinyun

Uli misses a tournament and now they have big jerm babysitting.
“Oh my gosh… is this dude ever gonna throw” 🤣🤣
This was fun enough but personally I prefer the goofing aspect with Uli & Nate.
Haha i love how Jerm actually carries the intro so well. He can be awkward sometimes, but he nailed it.
Man, AB has bulked up recently and I reckon it's going to be great for his long term career
I love the "Leave room for Jesus" shoulder hold between Gannon and Jerm. "It's hard to believe your older than 7 right now." 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
When uli said the 20 ft tall guy thing was absolute gold😂 love the reference from jerm
Listening to Gannon and AB give Big Jerm crap about maxing out at 385 made me hurt on the inside a little bit haha. I’d love to max out at 385 haha
Jerm is the best entertainer in the game! These young bucks are just lucky to get in on the action! ... and they're pretty good too....

"My dad forced me to do this breakdown" and then follows it up with the Josh Anthon imitation. lmao
AB in particular and Gannon are low key high quality trash talkers. Great episode. Hope Uli and his best friend Eags McMayhem feel better soon.
