Finally got to know more abt Chee Hoi. Keep up the good work and u have my respect saving up by taking a bus to sg for ya interview. Definitely a value gem for fifthperson!
Thanks for the video, it's a refreshing change by interviewing one of your colleagues / staff. At one point of the video which mentioned that he received dividends from a tech stock, i believe that stock is not a growth stock since it can afford to give out dividends. My basic understanding is that a growth stock don't give dividends (since it needs capital to invest and grow). Is my assumption correct? Also curious to know which tech stock is that? It's ok if you can't disclose the company name for confidentiality reason. Thank you.
I enjoyed the video very much. Chee Hoi can you help to research whether NSL Ltd is a good buy. Recently they paid out a special dividend of 40cts per share.
You can grow your portfolio by investing in high-quality stocks when their prices are low or reasonable. Take your time to build your portfolio; there's no need to rush into anything!
As a dividend investor, you pick high-quality stocks that are expected to pay a steady and growing dividend over many years. There is no reason to sell a stock due to short-term price movements, unless its fundamentals have structurally deteriorated.
Could you guys share your thoughts on how to invest $1mil TODAY in our current climate - proper asset allocation for long term growth and income generation?

Hi, can you guys talk about sg property development companies? Especially pronex , worth to grab?
Unless they have strong recurring revenues, we typically avoid property development companies due to the cyclical nature of their business.
@@TheFifthPersonChannel same thoughts
what are the taxes that malaysians investing in sg need to consider ?this is a question in relation to investing in ocbc
There are no taxes on Malaysians investing in Singapore stocks.
@@TheFifthPersonChannelwhat about the taxes on the dividends (if there is)that you receive?
There is no dividend tax for Singapore and Malaysia stocks. There's a 10% withholding tax on dividends for Malaysian REITs.
