Conor I go through this every single day on my commute home from work and I’m right there with you. I will do everything in my power to block those people that wait until the last second to merge when they’ve known for miles they need to merge. And I too yell at the people in front of me when they fail to block the assholes out and let them get their way. I’ve never related to an intro more 😂

Whatever you think the very last second is to cross over to a different lane to the extreme? I switch lanes after that. A lifetime of driving has taught me to literally trust no one in front of me. My time is so very valuable and precious and important and I will do everything possible to save every fucking second of it. Connor, I love your input and look forward to every new episode you two put out, I watch it all, this is one of my favorite things on youtube. But, my man, you will get rocked in this game of chicken. I promise. We're going around you or through you, no contain on this jet sweep, my guy. Chicago heathen here. Proud. By the way, the United States also needs a national "passing lane" law for the left most lane on any state/interstate highway. Our wonderful neighbors who think the left lane is for cruising in their car are maybe one tier worse than the offramp heathens.

Bears fan here, I think the hope is to make it to playoffs, that in itself would be a big accomplishment. Taking one out of 2 against Green Bay would be a great side accomplishment. It's hard to have sky high expectations while beating up on garbage teams. If Caleb keeps looking as good as he has against good teams and your competitive against your division than you really get excited for next year; this year we are playing with house money.

What do yall feel like about travis hunter playing mainly receiver in the nfl but coming in on defense as a dime back in a playmaking role similar to a mike edwards or pj williams. I feel like it would be an impactful specialized role that he could maximize

Keep Daboll fire Schoen. Missed on two top ten picks, drafted Wendale Robinson over George Pickens and Alec Pierce, didn’t pick up Daniel Jones fifth year rookie option, forcing them to give him a long term contract before necessary, and let Saquon and McKinney walk. The team still plays hard for Daboll . He is limited due to the roster he has been given. The problem is the gm.

lol so funny. Depending on situation, the zipper idea is supreme. Where there are two lanes of traffic that take turns merging. It’s a more efficient idea than one looooong lane.

Giants fan here: first of all huge fan of the show, this is a long text so understand if you guys don't feel like reading my whole spiel.
I am writing this after the eagles game and I am so split on the decision whether or not to keep Daboll and feel it changes on a weekly basis. I think Daboll is a good coach that has shown a proven track record to get the best out of his teams despite subpar talent. The 2022 season was a prime example of that and even last year, getting 6 wins out of that team led by Tommy Devito is a huge accomplishment. Going into the Eagles game, I feel that this season is more about the Jones inability to elevate the offense versus Daboll as a coach. Every game out of Minnesota, the Giants have been competitive this year. Schoen may have finally put it together with this years rookie class after complete misses in the 2022 draft and while everyone rides on the giants for the daniel jones contract, paying Jones was the right move at the time: Jones just led his team to playoffs, had a career year, carried his team against the vikings playoff game and the giants were picking at 23 in a qb class that was not very deep outside of stroud/young/richardson.
Post Eagles game, I am feeling that despite my respect for Daboll as a coach, its getting tough for ownership to justify keeping the current staff. Yes, the Maras are usually patient but with the losing recently, you've seen move on pretty quickly from their HC's (McAdoo - 2 years, Shurmer - 2 years, Judge - 2 years) This is a proud franchise, ownership and the fans are tired of being the butt of jokes and major changes need to be made outside of Jones. This franchise has becomes used to a losing culture and while we can say there many issues with the team as far as roster construction and daniel jones contract, it starts and ends with the leadership and decision making of your head coach and management. Why is our roster on such thin ice after losing our left tackle, why did we not invest in a swing tackle, why doesn't this team target o-line in the draft and how did Daboll feel that Ezudu is a suitable backup?? And say we allow Daboll to stay and take his qb. How long is his leash? With a rookie qb, you're pretty much investing another two years in Schoen/Daboll?
If the plan is getting a rookie qb, rarely does this work with a coach on the hot seat. We need a Dan Campbell type of coach that is going to be a complete culture setter. And no, the answer is not Bill Belichick lol

Bears fan here. The remaining schedule is a Gauntlet, and I don't feel very confident in them making the playoffs. The interior of our offensive line needs attention this off-season and we'll most likely need to negotiate contracts with Brisker and Gordon. Luckily we can opt out of the Nate Davis contract and save 9.5 mil. Our defense can matchup well with most teams so I see us be competitive in the second half of the season but man, it might be a tough one to watch down the stretch.

Intrusive thoughts kicking in when Connor mentions Carolina trading Jaycee Horn. If the price isn't too steep, the idea of having Horn with Woolen on the outside, and Spoon in the slot makes me very happy. Bitino from Cleveland is also a no brainer. Just don't want Seattle to end up with no picks. Having the gal between 16 and 82 was absolutely brutal to watch all those good players get picked, especially at positions of need.

I intentionally try to annoy/inconvenience drivers that I can sense are impatient or are driving nicer cars. I'm not reckless or unsafe about it though. Just yesterday I successfully inconvenienced a BMW convertible that was riding my ass while I was driving to work. It was a 2-lane road and I was in the right lane. This BMW came up behind me really quickly and I could sense that they just really, really wanted to pass me. So I just ever so slightly increased my speed so that I would just barely be going faster than the car in the left lane. The BMW did eventually pass me but I had already won. I don't know when I started doing this and I don't know why I continue to do it.

Bears fan: if we go 3-0 in the next three, maybe we can get to nine or ten wins. 2-1 makes things so much harder. It's extremely tight, especially with so few divisional games played (one, lol). Beating Seattle (likely losing to SF) is a priority, but you also need to win at least one divisional game, likely two. The Bears could go 10-7, but because the middle class of the NFC is so solid, they could come up short. That said, we're glad that we have a real quarterback finally ;)

can you guys take a look at BYU wideouts Darius Lassiter and Chase Roberts for Stock Up/Stock Down, I'm a hometown BYU fan and seeing as the Cougs are undefeated, it might be worth your time. While you're at it, BYU QB Jake Retzlaff, the Jewish Jet might surprise you as well

Traffic experts say that you should drive all the way down and then merge for exits or for closed lanes because it’s inefficient to not fully use any open lanes. Getting over earlier creates more traffic for everyone behind you. Excited to listen to the pod from hell one day.

I'm a Bears fan. The record doesn't matter. Tape doesn't matter. I have been scarred too many times. I will ALWAYS be looking towards the draft. (I do like how the season looks so far, though. If we can go .500 in division games, that'd be solid)
