apparently the only way nvidia could get the fe 5090 into two slots was with liquid metal between the die and cooler. unless partners are willing to risk liquid metal, phone books they will probably stay 😭
@godnamedtay, lol. You sound like a real tool. I'm fine with AIO's. They have worked well for me, and I've never had any issues. I feel like possible problems go up exponentially with full water-cooled setups. I'll continue to do what I want to do. You can continue being a tool.
I've had my 4090 Suprim since launch and it's fantastic. Always cool and quiet because it's so over-built. I'm curious if these ones will share those characteristics despite the TBP being 575W.
I dont think thats an issue anymore, scalpers lost ALOT of money from 40 supers and ps5 pro, there wer even news about scalpers selling 40 series for msrp back in 2022. They probably learned their lesson by now
Agree with the Vangaurd looking slick. I’ll be buying a 5090, but my dilemma is all this nice hardware in SSRM52 rack mount. I need a ‘normal’ windowed desktop case to show kit off!!
Certainly liking the design of the Vanguard cards, though I'm not sure why I care since I have all mesh/blackout cases anyway. My current MSI 4070Ti is indeed the Gaming X Trio though.
I will sit on the fence until all the testing and benchmarks for these GPU comes out. i am more interested in new innovation in cases, fans and AIOs and hopefully they are affordable.
want to see raw performance benchmarking of rtx 5090 without DLSS and MFG will be interesting to see how much better it is from the rtx4090 and if there is any significant improvement in fps then would be worth buying
i find the 40 series suprim better looking then the new one its pissed me of so bad lmao but then i seen a post about msi bringing out a suprim with 5 fans
Think this guy needs to research why the founders edition is only two slots. It isn't because the new gen rewrites the laws of physics, watts will still create heat at the same rate. The founders edition has three PCB's, is a revolutionary design with the chip in the middle and two flow through fans.
I personally like the Vanguard, the blend of angles and carbon fibre makes the GPU very sexy. But of course, if i had the cash to throw, the SUPRIM is the kingg :)
Its in the fine print mate. In a handful of games that have dlss4 support your fake frames will make it look like you are playing on a 4090. But the latency will not improve.
Man, damn... The SUPRIM LIQUID is the best GPU setup ever. It is so efficent ,that I am never looking at traditional air cooled setups again. Seriously, it always keeps the GPU cool and performance is super stable in high performance. I have x3 of these and they work like a magic in my 3d workstation, sometimes rendering 5 days in a row, full power, full speed. Never crashing. You skipped to talk about this new card is a reall disapointment. It is the pinacle of GPU's.
Ive always like the Suprim, i really like the shinny brushed aluminum design more than any other AIB deisgn. Shame theyre almot never in stock and when they are its almost always being sold by some third party vendor and grossly overpriced for the already high asking price MSI set for the higher tier design. Almost so high you can bump up to another GPU class. Vanguard is looking pretty sick too. Also ive noticed AIBS dont make their high end cooler for AMD cards. Only Powercolor and Sapphire.
Thanks Nick. I miss EVGA soooo much. 😟 Not interested in anything wider than 2-slots. Why? Because anything wider than 2-slots means a blatant lack of engineering effort. At these prices... a lack of engineering effort = profit greed.
Those "Inspire" series cards look sick! I can't stand the stupid dragon logo that's on most of MSI's stuff, so the Inspire cards are a welcome addition to the lineup. They would go well with an ASRock Taichi mobo, lol.
Whats crazy is the founders exition is so much nicer tha. An aib board partner cards...i mean 2 slot cor a 5090 why are they still doing 4 alots for the 5090...dumb
AIB partner (aka aftermarket or non-reference-design) cards have always been huge, lol. Look at the Asus ROG 4090, that thing is probably over twice the size of the reference 4090. It's so they can use a big chungus heatsink to keep the cards cool while overclocked and under load playing games.
The 5090 FE is using Liquid Metal on the GPU. That means they need much beefier coolers. I doubt many AIBs want to mess with liquid metal right out of the gate.
That's ALWAYS been the case. Dunno why you're disappointed. Personally I like the big chungus coolers even though it may be unnecessary. Helps to fill out your case and prevent it from looking empty.
@ because I know I won’t be lucky enough to snag a founders lol. I’m a small form factor type of person. Can’t wait for the dimensions of third party cards release (if they already haven’t). As long as there is a 5080 the size of the EVGA FTW3 3080 I’ll be happy.
MORE!! Need that CES coverage!!
nice to see a close to true 2 slot 5080
sad its really a 5070
Im really curious how the 5090 FE will hold up to these giant monster versions.
Probably just fine. They’re using Liquid Metal and a smarter cooler design. Vs a traditional cooler design with thermal paste That’s just big.
FE’s are meant to be utilized for their higher binned GPU’s, stripped of their coolers and water blocked for overclocking. Change my mind
The Vanguard is by far my favorite. Its looks so sleek but aggressive.
I love the look of the white 5080, I wish the 5090 had a white variation.
Most likely later
i will get it the 5080 white
I dig the look of the Inspire cooler. I wonder where MSI is planning to put in, in terms of their pricing structure.
it's good to see cards finally get smaller... except for the 5090's. Those are phonebooks at this rate
apparently the only way nvidia could get the fe 5090 into two slots was with liquid metal between the die and cooler. unless partners are willing to risk liquid metal, phone books they will probably stay 😭
@@MarauderYT but isn't liquid metal difficult to remove in case the gpu needs to be opened?
@ yep
I dont expect many should be trying to oc their fe 5090s 😅
Absolutely love the MSI designs, but these cards are getting way too beefy😂
They are pretty large!
tbh the Ventus and Gaming Trio lines are looking pretty tame compared to higher ones
and expensive 😂
The reference cards are actually smaller because of the flow through design. More power at the top end tho.
@@kiankit lol yeah
Coming from a day one 4090 Suprim Liquid X with no issues, I really hope I can get ahold of the 5090 Suprim Liquid SOC...
Bruh just liquid cool ur own card. Get a gpu block like a real man. Jesus.
@godnamedtay, lol. You sound like a real tool. I'm fine with AIO's. They have worked well for me, and I've never had any issues. I feel like possible problems go up exponentially with full water-cooled setups. I'll continue to do what I want to do. You can continue being a tool.
I love that white glossy look on that card!!!
Love seeing 2-slot cards. Just need a blower version.
Gahd Dahm!!!!
That 5070 statement was pretty wild!!! 🤣
Keen to see what you guys think of it when it’s in your grubby little hands
That 5080 Inspire is gorgeous
Where would be be able to order these and what day would they be available?
Could you check out the INNIO3D range? They have listed the smallest cards on the market.
Whats bigger, the Vangaurd or the Suprim? I want the fattest 5090. 😊
is the small form factor only for 5070? is there a small form factor 5080?
The Inspire 5080 looked pretty small.
Why get a brick that big when Nvidia are making em a 2 slot size ?
I will be buying a white 5090 gpu and I cant wait for the 5090 vs the 4090 raster performance.
I've had my 4090 Suprim since launch and it's fantastic. Always cool and quiet because it's so over-built. I'm curious if these ones will share those characteristics despite the TBP being 575W.
But will it fit an ATX mobo?
Its okay guys none of us are gonna get em scalpers will till 6 series drops

That inspire looks so pretty
nice, new Ventus line design.
Inspire cards looking dope. Excellent video fams.
How much are they? I like the AIB cards but if they are $$$ more than the Founders, then I'll just get the Founders.
Those vanguard cards are MASSIVE hahaha, love it
I guess I'll be waiting till the dust or smoke settles before I upgrade. I'm sure the promised pricing will evaporite once launched. :(
Thank you, please show me the Noctua booth.
waiting for the NVIDIA founder edition 2 slots temps test .....THE 5070TI VENTUS is very nice and tiny .
That water cooler card would be great in your Silverstone RM-52

That sff card is going hard!
5070 ti Inspire might be my next GPU if it's not too far above MSRP! Should look nice in my old Meshify C case :)
I was here before the title fix 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Looking forward to all the CES coverage!
Those sizes are just insane atp.

All of Suprim, Vanguard and Gaming Trio (along with Asus Astral) are on my shopping list. I don't care which one I can manage to get.
I hate thet they made the suprim liquid with 360 radiator instead of 240, reference card are gaettinng smaller theirs are getting bigger!
i want AIB 2 slot 5090s
The new Ventus design looks WAY btter than the slightly organic designs they've had in the past. I hope they keep it like the one he was holding.
Ventus are always been trash in comparison to the other variants. Never buy a Ventus unless it’s an amazing deal, never.
Can't wait to see comparisons against 4090

I wish AiB’s would emulate the FE cards, I want to build a sff build not doing it with those chonky cards.

We need some white gpu for my new white build :p
Waiting on the Gigabyte Brand!
Why can't more vendors just sell us a card with just a waterblock?
If Nvidia can make a 2 slot 5090, why are manufacturers still making 3.5 slot cards? Normalize 2 slot cards so we can all fit it in our builds please!
