Jimin's solo performance, wearing a modernized hanbok just fastened by ties only, had many different dance elements in it! Including the barrel leaps taken from Korean dance elements, some martial arts elements, (trained in various forms, for 8 yrs, w/blackbelt in Taekwondo) of course contemporary dance, & Jimin's amazing scarf work, which is alone so hard to master, without getting that ever so thin veil of a scarf all tangled! Jimin somehow was able to make the scarf one with himself, using it as an extension, even at one point when he did that amazing jump leap straight up the scarf becoming his wings!! Jimin's whole performance was so amazingly stunningly beautiful. Just so effortlessly breathtakingly mesmerizing to see!!!!
Beautifully put! I've seen so many dancers praise Jimin's performance, saying they would not dance with a cloth as it could easily get tangled in the process. Jimin just makes it look so effortless. He's amazing! Just pure art!
I’ve watched this performance probably a hundred times now…and it NEVER gets old. 🤯 It honestly, at the time, felt like BTS claiming the crown they had spent so many arduous years earning. What shocked me is that it won a fan poll in a recent Run BTS episode..and most of the guys were surprised by it. Like…how was that a surprise to them? It’s perfectly constructed from start to finish with amazing performances, etc. Anyway…so happy to see you guys react to it. Love seeing it through fresh eyes again. 💜

My soul left my body the first time I saw this performance (this goddamn award show that was practically turned into a BTS concert) Park Jimin is so unreal...he is cute, sexy, and everything in between. 💜 So Boy in Luv is actually one of their older songs (you guys should totally react to it), a lot of their earlier music is hip hop and experimenting with style, but none of it is bad. I hope you guys do MAMA 2019 as well, they performed some old songs and showed the transitional phases they went through with their performance.

About this performance, Army chose this as their best live performance in a survey and the boys were trying to guess army’s choice, they didn’t think that this could be the one, Jimin said that when it was over he felt to throw up because he was super tired!! The way this stage blew everyone off! Pls also do react to MAMA 2019 it was really fun with them performing their debut songs too! BTS at bh really have a great creative team, they plan this like 2-3 months ago the show with constant meeting with their creative team and performance director to plan a story out its just sooo much work. Theres a ton of story to this, a small eg would be how the bulbs representing each member forming a constellation which was a gift dionysus gifted his love, the horses the lepords and even the women who is infront are called “maenads” who are worshippers of dionysus who are deemed as “passionate and mad”. Here BTS is caling themselves dionysus, their wine being art and this a celebration of art. Its just beautiful
I think it's amazing that Jimin danced live live while the rest of the original dance line dance brakes were prerecorded They did an incredible job it's really a legendary performance and you were right it's not a concert it's an award show MMA - Melon Music Awards but it surely feels like one
BTS are masters of illusions. Parts of this was actually pre-recorded with their live vocals. RM's Persona, Mikrokosmos, the solo performances (except for Jimin's) and the entire long intro to Dionysus was all pre-recorded. The rest was live :) Their planning for these shows are also extremely extensive. I think they start practicing 3 months before at least.
This can be a bit confusing. The prerecordings of their solo performances were broadcast (except Jimin's), but they all did perform their solos live on stage (Jimin's being the only one broadcast live).

Also while Hephaestus is the obvious choice for "fire", i would like to suggest Hades. The fire could very well represent some kind of underworld and it would fit better with his famous "I'll forgive you".

I still have goosebumps watching this even after how many times i watched already. I am happy you get to experience it yourselves. But there's a lot more mma 2018 was the best for me i swear bts deliver more than what you expect. No words can describe how amazinglly talented and creative they are.

And Jimin's solo is already a legend ! there is a lot of symbolism there (each boy figures a god, the seven light for the seven members, the album map of the soul 7, the 7 years of BTS, and the seven stars of the Ariadne crown etc) . The reason why they can do all these cool effects is because it’s not live when it’s being aired in the tv. This is like a concert so if it was live they wouldn’t be able to make all these effects, if that makes sense? Jimin solo to I Need You is one of the absolutely most graceful dances I’ve ever seen. I’m not saying this because it’s Jimin but because I love the art of dance.
When you said it's not a concert or a performance, it's an experience, you were dead on, but this wasn't even their concert. This was an AWARD SHOW! The Grammys gave BTS 40 seconds as backup singers to Lil Nas X the first year and a shortened version of one of their songs the last time they performed on the Grammys. MMA gave BTS 25 minutes and clearly free rein and look what they got. Definitely best performance I've ever seen. On top of their amazing singing and dancing skills, it was like being at a Cirque de Soleil show on the side. Take notes western award shows on how it should be done. Thanks for reacting. I remember when I first discovered BTS my cheeks hurt for moths from smiling too often because I wasn't used to it. They really made me smile everytime I saw them, watched run ep or listened to their songs. I really think I became more cheerful person thanks to them 😅

An absolute treat to watch this again through your eyes. Your quiet amazement from the dance break until the end is just so relatable. Sooo relatable. I was the same way. They have a dance practice for this too (Dionysus with dance break) and I think it's a must-watch to see all the moving parts working constantly around and with them. The back-up dancers are amazing as always and so is their own choreo - especially during the long table scene... the way the dancers on the floor move and undulate. It's all so amazingly creative. And should be watched in slow motion to catch everything too.
Wow, wow, the genergy in these boys are phenomenal 👏 the best show ever. They move like one body very impressive. I watch this show everytime when I'm stressed looking after my mom who has dementia. This show relaxes my blood pressure, I cry n laugh at the same time. What an amazing award show. All I can say Great n Fantastic Performances BTS. Love you guys. In addition to Suga's part the 🔥 is representing his personality n the water fell n cool it down meaning that there is a soft side on Min Yoongi. Love his performance.

I will never forget watching this live. I stayed up all night for it and I swear I didn’t breath through the whole thing. Then I got to see them win artist of the year right after. It was magical. I rode that high for awhile. I didn’t sleep for like 48 hrs straight including the time I was awake for the show.
I watched at least five reactions for this 2019 MMA and by far you are the best. The pure joy on your faces. Emotions are contagious which is why we gather in groups. With society being so separated for many, reaction videos became popular to share emotions. You all are the best. Thank you. BTS is worthy of all our love. So Boy in Luv is actually one of their older songs (you guys should totally react to it), a lot of their earlier music is hip hop and experimenting with style, but none of it is bad.

About this performance, Army chose this as their best live performance in a survey and the boys were trying to guess army’s choice, they didn’t think that this could be the one, Jimin said that when it was over he felt to throw up because he was super tired!! The way this stage blew everyone off! Pls also do react to MAMA 2019 it was really fun with them performing their debut songs too! BTS at bh really have a great creative team, they plan this like 2-3 months ago the show with constant meeting with their creative team and performance director to plan a story out its just sooo much work. Theres a ton of story to this, a small eg would be how the bulbs representing each member forming a constellation which was a gift dionysus gifted his love, the horses the lepords and even the women who is infront are called “maenads” who are worshippers of dionysus who are deemed as “passionate and mad”. Here BTS is caling themselves dionysus, their wine being art and this a celebration of art. Its just beautiful

I think it's amazing that Jimin danced live live while the rest of the original dance line dance brakes were prerecorded They did an incredible job it's really a legendary performance and you were right it's not a concert it's an award show MMA - Melon Music Awards but it surely feels like one
BTS are masters of illusions. Parts of this was actually pre-recorded with their live vocals. RM's Persona, Mikrokosmos, the solo performances (except for Jimin's) and the entire long intro to Dionysus was all pre-recorded. The rest was live :) Their planning for these shows are also extremely extensive. I think they start practicing 3 months before at least.
This can be a bit confusing. The prerecordings of their solo performances were broadcast (except Jimin's), but they all did perform their solos live on stage (Jimin's being the only one broadcast live).

Also while Hephaestus is the obvious choice for "fire", i would like to suggest Hades. The fire could very well represent some kind of underworld and it would fit better with his famous "I'll forgive you".

The reason why they can do all these cool effects is because it’s not live when it’s being aired in the tv. This is like a concert so if it was live they wouldn’t be able to make all these effects, if that makes sense?
Jimin solo to I Need You is one of the absolutely most graceful dances I’ve ever seen. I’m not saying this because it’s Jimin but because I love the art of dance.
When you said it's not a concert or a performance, it's an experience, you were dead on, but this wasn't even their concert. This was an AWARD SHOW! The Grammys gave BTS 40 seconds as backup singers to Lil Nas X the first year and a shortened version of one of their songs the last time they performed on the Grammys. MMA gave BTS 25 minutes and clearly free rein and look what they got. Definitely best performance I've ever seen. On top of their amazing singing and dancing skills, it was like being at a Cirque de Soleil show on the side. Take notes western award shows on how it should be done. Thanks for reacting. We watch Jimin dancing I need you solo with the most beautiful, gracefull and delicates contemporary dance steps and afther that we watch him in Dionysus with precises and strongs moves... He is unbelievable, insane, the most versatile. He is unique and incomparable ❣ Love him so much and love bts too.
I remember when I first discovered BTS my cheeks hurt for moths from smiling too often because I wasn't used to it. They really made me smile everytime I saw them, watched run ep or listened to their songs.

An absolute treat to watch this again through your eyes. Your quiet amazement from the dance break until the end is just so relatable. Sooo relatable. I was the same way. They have a dance practice for this too (Dionysus with dance break) and I think it's a must-watch to see all the moving parts working constantly around and with them. The back-up dancers are amazing as always and so is their own choreo - especially during the long table scene... the way the dancers on the floor move and undulate. It's all so amazingly creative. And should be watched in slow motion to catch everything too.
Wow, wow, the genergy in these boys are phenomenal 👏 the best show ever. They move like one body very impressive. I watch this show everytime when I'm stressed looking after my mom who has dementia. This show relaxes my blood pressure, I cry n laugh at the same time. What an amazing award show. All I can say Great n Fantastic Performances BTS. Love you guys. In addition to Suga's part the 🔥 is representing his personality n the water fell n cool it down meaning that there is a soft side on Min Yoongi. Love his performance.

I will never forget watching this live. I stayed up all night for it and I swear I didn’t breath through the whole thing. Then I got to see them win artist of the year right after. It was magical. I rode that high for awhile. I didn’t sleep for like 48 hrs straight including the time I was awake for the show.
