Vince Neil could only shout 30 years ago, even in the 80's he couldn't sing clear, he couldn't keep vocal range. If you compare Jani Lane and Vince Neil in 2010 Jani still had his voice, almost just like in the 80's while Vince sounded like shit, and today it get even worse. So no, Vince Neil is not better in any terms than Jani Lane. Just because you prefer Motley Crue over Warrant (to be honest, I like MC more either) doesn't change the fact that Jani was way better and way more talented singer than Vince.
He sounds a little better here than he has in a few years, still a few "flat spots" but he hasn't been all to kind to his voice over his lengthy singing career.
