How do you make it ? Whenever i watch Bojack Horseman, I can only reflect at how my own life is pathetic. The only good reason that I have to be depressive is that I don't know where my life is going to take me ? Rest of the time ? i'm just sad because everything around me makes me sad: politics, philosophy, other people around me trying desesparatly to get just a single glimpe of the meaning of life. And at this point I don't know man. I feel very close to Bojack at the end of season 3
Korcius V. That's why it makes me feel better, it makes me feel less alone. When everything feels hopeless, and when I feel like garbage, Bojack (even if he isn't real) is there to empathize with me. In the end, what I took from Bojack Horseman, is that in the end, it doesn't matter where our lives take us. Because like it or not, we live it anyways, for better or worse. That being happy isn't an end goal in life, that things, and money can't fix a broken person. As sad as this is going to sound, I don't think a broken person can ever be totally mended, but we just have to keep living forward. I kind of got off track, but that's my two cents on this show.
When we realise that, in the end, nothing matters, there will always be two opposite perspectives on life. One leads to depression: life is meaningless, let it ends now. The other leads to happiness: nothing really matters, so why worry? Let's enjoy every moment of life.
I think the beauty of this show is the twist between these two perspectives. It makes us jump from one to another every episode. It really makes us question our own identity, sense of belonging and encourage us to find our own happiness.
We are all Princess Carolyn sometimes. We are busy with other people's shit, we are the one who tells people to get their shit together. The one who seeks for love in helping the other, yet the one who cry and get drunk and then fall into sleep in a single bed of a big city
"It gets easier." "Huh?" "Everyday it gets a little easier." "Yeah?" "But you gotta do it everyday, that's the hard part. But it does get easier." "Okay. :)"
So you took some licks, but you're gonna bounce back. You're talented, you're smart, and damn it - you're good. You are a goddamn American treasure, you know that? You are BoJack goddamn Horseman.
Its funny how people get to know good music by watching good tv-series and I get to know good tv-series by listening to good music. Never heard of Bojack Horseman before but now I got to watch it I gues. :D
@@striker91 Yes I actually did watch Bojack Horseman. And actually it has become my favourite series of the last 10 years. And meanwhile I have also went to a grouplove concert :D . Although sadly enough they did not play the bojack horseman theme song.
@@metronomy8388 I saw an interview and they didn't seem all that excited about being known for BoJack's end theme. Guess being an indie band, they felt they ought to be known for their other more significant work. And the end theme is not even a full song.
All I can say is Bojack Horseman is one hell of a show that just gives me the feels that I never expected.. you can find happiness in anything, just need to change your perspective.
I fucking love this song. It has that feeling, like losing, but when it feels good to just lose for once. When you can't fight something, you tried, and it's almost relieving to give up. Definitely the place I'm in right now, it's almost therapeutic to listen to. Also BoJack brought me here.
I am so happy I decided to watch bojack horseman when I was high that one time. At this point I’ve watched it two times through and I’m back to season one again. I’ve never been more obsessed with a show. I needed it so much. Still do.
Is it just me or is TV (I know, it's Netflix but I refuse to say "serialized media") getting really good music in their lineup lately. I can think of 10 bands off the top of my head that I discovered from a show's soundtrack. At any rate, all the more power to these newer bands getting a little screen-time amid the noise.
Saurabh Agrawal Well, maybe not all the way to ten (exaggerated figure) but I'll try; *The Brothers Bright* and *Hugo* via the show "Blacklist"; *Grouplove* and *Lyla Foy* via "Bojack Horseman"; *Heartless Bastards* were featured in "Daredevil" but I don't watch Netflix and instead stumbled upon the song through RUclips suggestion / the band's awesome name; and ... shit, that's it. Man I really got an exaggeration problem.
Saurabh Agrawal the opening for true derective (1 season) by The handsome family is amazing in my opinion. the end credits of adventure time - The island song!
In terms of Adventure Time the song "Everything Stays" is genuinely a good song that I recommend, though that's written original for the show so I didn't count it in my initial list.
