Thankyou Guy Man appreciated , its not perfect , but try to replicate their live sound with the Omni ,, i cant afford a Marshall Time Modulator like they used to get the Omni more choral sounding like Decades and Eternal

Thanks for nice comment ,, nice to hear uve got two omnis ,, any probs let us know , I've helped a lot of people mend theres via online ,, you might find a few 1458 op amps need replacing or if any of your switches don't work on the mk 2 , it will be the 4013 flip flop chips

I really like what you’re trying to do but may i make one suggestion try using a Marshal Tube Modulator if you can get hold of one and you will be amazed at the sound of your Omni II, I read that they used one in the studio along with Matins AMS´s
A friend of mine has the plug-in version and I tried a vst solina as there is no Omni plug-in available, the sound is omg really worth the effort.

thanx for your kind comment , i dont think you got my last comment as i did it from my TAB and it doesnt have the personal reply option , didnt want you to think i didnt appreciate your comment . let me know please how you get on with your Omnis as ive repaired 5 now ,, ive ended up knowing them off by heart ,, tell me what its not doing , and i can usually give you a good idea of what chip or chips need replacing ,, firstly always change the two 10ufs on the power board , a must ,

Hi Bin Tatzelwurm ,, i play Atmosphere the way Bernard played it live ,,, in the studio Martin Hannet often played synth parts for them , he played Decades for them , so not too sure what style Martin used , he was more chord man , Bernard was a two fingered chord player , three if you count low bass notes , but usually just a octave or two down from his right hand first note

You seem to be half a step too high, no sharps or flats in Atmosphere I believe

Iamurcouch your kind of right ,, Hannett speeded up Atmosphere to fit Ian, im playing it how it was recorded on vinyl c# f# etc , live they played it c , f etc

It's weird. I'm with Post Ironic State on this. When I first heard the recording of "Atmosphere" I assumed the key was in C#/Db major. But in live versions and covers by other people it was played in C major. Maybe when they did the recording, they did it in C#/Db, but decided to tune it down to C after the recording and did for live versions. Or there's also a possibility that when they pressed the finished product onto vinyl, they ended up increasing the speed (tempo & pitch) which resulted in the song sounding closer to C#/Db or exactly in between C and C#/Db. I hate it when this happens because it ruins your initial impression of the song for what it actually was meant to sound like.
