@@godsonrobinson9843 you know nothing about boxing obviously😂 this is the only A level fighter Garcia has fought. Tank Davis has fought multiple world champs and has belts in multiple divisions
And it might be a push to even call Campbell an A level fighter at this point in his career

So I just came back to watch this match after hearing about the Garcia vs Davis match potentially happening and I say that Garcia still has a lot to improve upon. The commentators already spoke about his lack of movement, poor defensive awareness and also poor head movement. I want to also add that Ryan relies too much on wide punches. He never gets punished for it because of his lightning quick hands but when fighting a fighter with comparable hand speed, that might be a problem. I think he should improve the power of his jabs and straight right, and only throw wide hooks incase of counters because I can see someone like Davis ripping him apart with straight lefts each time Garcia lunges in with left hooks. Just my thoughts. Also Garcia should have more bounce on his feet. Move around the ring more, move away from opponents attacks more, don't keep his head stationary and like I said don't try to load up on his punches all the time. These are the things that may hold Ryan Garcia back from truly being the best out there.
Imagine tank doing the same shot Luke did... he won't get up.

I also came to watch this fight for the same reason. Garcia has potential but his foot work is below average. He has a very basic flat footed fight style. I just Davis is too experienced to lose this fight. Garcia definitely has serious potential.

Amazing how Garcia immediately went after Campbell after being dropped, and arguably won the remainder of the round. The kid has Mexican grit, admirable for such a resented fighter.

Mannn I love Ryan Garcia but it's anxiety-inducing watching some of his habits when it comes to the fundamentals, the kinds of things that put him at risk of getting exposed big time if a really experienced fighter catches him. Fighting against a southpaw here and despite going first in most exchanges, he gives up outside lead foot position every time. So far his raw ability and fearlessness are covering up the holes but I would love to see him get really technically sound too. A really skilled and shrewd fighter with his hand speed, powerful hook, and courage in the ring would make for an amazing champion.

I have nothing but respect for Luke Campbell he's quite a boxer and a Gentleman as well. I am a Ryan Garcia fan and I was hoping he would stay humble like the way he used to conduct himself but I guess the name of the game in boxing nowadays is hype and I feel like he feels he has to be that way now. I always like a humble quiet boxer but I guess it's a different world now. Or rather a different generation.

its insane how many times that right hand dropped, honestly surprised Luke didn't knock Ryan down more than just the one time, it was there over and over
he’s sacrificing that drop for something and maybe you can pick up on it. excelling in a strike will always almost have consequences but it’s high risk, high reward.
People always taking about defense how your hands should always be up near the chin. May I remind you of Roy Jones Jr who fought extremely well with his hands down, not just away from his chin but DOWN. Not every boxer has to comply with your standards of boxing basics. Ryan has been getting away with this because he is so fast. It's obviously his main weakness along with his right hand because he's actually a lefty. People dare criticize world champions without having accomplished anything.

Feel like this fight showed what makes Ryan Garcia so intriguing: he showed elite speed and power to KO Campbell, something Loma and Linares couldn't do, but also got knocked down heavily by Campbell, which Loma and Linares managed to avoid.
Nothing special. Luke came off a 2 year lay off and a loss to Loma recently so obviously he just wanted a payday
C’mon LOMA fought a prime active Luke , Ryan fought a semi retired fighter that wasn’t staying fit & ready.
That’s what older fighters that are on there way out of the sport do take a fight for a payday 💰.

They definitely didn’t have the speed combined with the power and precision timing to throw it Ryan has that is why they couldn’t put away Campbell . Just like what’s going to happen to Davis as long as Ryan comes in feeling right and fights his style of fight . He can’t let the stage get to big or hold back .

Will be hard for Ryan to get a clean body shot to shorter Gervonta Davis, have to keep control with jabs, combinations. 5'5" Tank can get under Ryan's jabs and get his ribs, liver. Both have great power and speed, like for Ryan to win it, shorter Tank has an edge I think though, hate to witness Ryan losing to Tank Davis.

I think this was the most relaxed Ryan looked even after his last fight against Duarte he looked tense and uncomfortable.. but he seems relaxed to me but hey I'm not boxing expert I'm just calling it how it looks to me as a fan..

I don't think Davis 'came back' but Davis had the fight in the beginning. Davis is an athletic and noetic young man. He uses his mind. His opponent is a great fight too, but Davis is at another level. They were expecting the upper cup to the chin but they did not know that he could upper cup to the ribs. I noticed Davis was shifting to his opponent's left jabs to the right which allowed Davis to catch him with rights. He was measuring his right jabs and going over them that same technique is used in Karate.

Ryan wasn't getting outside of Luke's right foot and that will be a problem against Tank. Ryan is in punching range for that straight left hand and he is standing straight up with his chin sitting right there ready to be hit. I saw it as a toss up but after seeing Ryan so open early in the fight I have to go with Tank by ko possibly early in the fight.
Going up against Davis, Ryan really has to tighten his guard and weave cause if he ate a punch from Campbell and got floored….a punch from Davis…would be a sentence to dreamland. Especially when Luke isn’t known for his power.
