I did not grow up in church but by God's grace His love found me and I had given my heart to Him...through challenges in church life I have put up a wall between the Lord and me (trying to avoid pain). This song reminds me that the love I have for the Lord meets me where I am as it always has. Religion is like a stone tied around my feet but falling in love with Jesus truly brought a change in me. My heart is Yours Lord...come back in and love me to life.
If the 16 people knew how J.gray struggled with a speech impediment I'm sure they would reconsidered the thumbs down. Music and God has opened this mans heart and voice. His once vocal weakness is now a gift for the rest of us to admire. You're awesome "J" man.
I have met him. He is an awesome man. The real deal. He brings his whole heart into his ministry and heals us with wisdom from his own pain. This is just one of the many reasons that those who know Jason or have met him, love him. The speech handicap that at times has caused him shame or embarrassment is no longer as much a handicap in his life as It has become a gift, a blessing of sorts, to give him access into the hearts of his audience. The Lord knows he's found a way into my own heart. I too, have had some speech issues that I have delt with for most of my life that were made worse with anti- cancer meds.
i think it is soooooo cool what God will do in our lives. i first listened to this song at Pinehaven Christian Ranch in MT. by my teacher and Jason's songs helped my keep with my dreams. i love to sing but i had no encouragement from anyone, and Jason Gray gave me that encouragement without even knowing it. thanx lot
no one is perfect no one is right but we know a man who was everything and still is and because of this we are blessed ! And his best was put to rest so lets show him we want to follow but fall to our knees because our right is wrong but his right makes every klove song. let us all fall in love with jesus like jason gray so we can wake up every morning and say good morning day :)
I love this guy and I love this song! We can let go of so many things if we just trust in Him. It doesn't have to be a chore to be a Christian and follow God. It is more like falling in love.
This is my Favorite version of this song, Unpluged doing his acoustical version is awesome!!! I think its Awesome that K-Love brings them into the studio and turns them loose to hear the REAL THEM!!! Thanks K-Love!!!! :) Keep it up!!! :) :)

My favorite station and one of my favorite songs...Jason's story is inspiring. Overcoming a speech impediment and even learning to sing so beautifully is incredible. It reminds me to have faith that we can all overcome our struggles and maybe even find ourselves with an unexpected gift to share in the end:)
He came to my church tonite to promote his new CD that came out today. He was awesome. I got my pic with him and he signed my CD. Can't wait to upload a song he did at church. I was right up front too!
Absolutely love this song... And Gray's music in general. It's got the anointing all over it. What a beautiful love song to our Lord Jesus Christ. No speech impediment can hold us down. Praise God
I was privileged enough to get to hear him in person singing this at the Make A Difference Tour in Corbin, Ky...It was amazing! He was one of my favorite performances of the night. He was amazing.
"Give me words, I'll misuse them. Obligations, I'll misplace them. 'Cause all religion ever made of me was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet. It never set me free, It's gotta be more like falling in love than something to believe in. More like losing my heart than giving my allegiance." - I love that!
Give me rules I will break them Give me lines I will cross them I need more than a truth to believe I need a truth that lives, moves, and breathes To sweep me off my feet It ought to be (CHORUS) More like falling in love Than something to believe in More like losing my heart Than giving my allegiance Caught up, called out Come take a look at me now It's like I'm falling, oh It's like I'm falling in love Give me words I'll misuse them Obligations I'll misplace them 'Cause all religion ever made of me Was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet It never set me free It's gotta be More like falling in love Than something to believe in More like losing my heart Than giving my allegiance Caught up, called out Come take a look at me now It's like I'm falling, oh It's like I'm falling in love It's like I'm falling in love, love, love Deeper and deeper It was love that made Me a believer In more than a name, a faith, a creed Falling in love with Jesus brought the change in me It's gotta be More like falling in love Than something to believe in More like losing my heart Than giving my allegiance Caught up, called out Come take a look at me now It's like I'm falling, oh It's like I'm falling in love It's gotta be More like falling in love Than something to believe in More like losing my heart Than giving my allegiance Caught up, called out Come take a look at me now It's like I'm falling, oh It's like I'm falling in love It's like I'm falling, oh I'm falling in falling It's like I'm falling
One thing i like about Jason Gray is that you can tell he loves the music hes playing. he really gets into it, i like to see the passion like that in musicians
Last night they were in Omaha, The Storytellers Tour.... If you can go to this concert I highly recommend.... 2nd most intimate concert next to the Rich Mullins in '89 at Simpson College in Indianola IA!
The crazy thing with Jason is that he has a very bad stuttering problem, I also do. It's amazing to see how God will bless people to get the amazing Word out
Jason Gray is so awesome! What an inspiration. When he speaks and sings you can tell that he really means what he says and sings. God Bless him! Keep on inspiring people! :)
It's kinda interesting...because most radio christian music isn't very good musically. And actually the studio version of this song isn't very good either but this version is amazing...just raw and beautiful. The passion in this song and purity of guitar and voice is just outstanding. The lyrics are actually brilliant for once in a while :D it's wonderful.
A personal relationship is what we need with Jesus and the Lord. Not just believing him. "He who liveith and believeth in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life." Jason is singing that.
I know of others who have stuttering issues, but when they sing they don't have a stutter. One of my mom's friend's son has a stutter and he is a professional opera singer.
@BrianVinc That E Minor is because of the capo he's using. He's got a "Drop D" capo that doesn't cover the Low E string. When he has to play that E minor on Capo 2, he needs that F# on top, and that's what he's doing with his index finger. It's a cool way to play, but it's not easy to get used to. Jason makes it look easy. Great guitar player and a great song.
@kyleh0122 all i really do instead of buying a special capo is i just flip my capo around and it holds the 3rd 4th and 5th strings and the bottom strings i dont have to worry about bc in 3 of the 4 chords played they are covered and with the chord he plays around the capo i dont strum the bottom two strings, sounds exactly like his but i cant manage to tap the stirngs at the same time and keep a nice rythm, but im working on it. great song btw!
@xSoulSearcherx That is exactly how I felt when I heard it. Religion had turned me against the whole concept.....forget rhetoric...love never fails:-)))
THANK YOU JASON GREY ---> YOU just told the story of at least 5 billion people! (don't quote me on that -- it's a guss) Thanks to K-LOVE what's your phone number could publish here so I can call in??
Ask and ye shall receive! I asked Jesus to show me my pride and dishonesty, and He did. Then I asked Him to remove it. Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. And then HE ASKED ME to tell others what He did for me.
God is Agape. We love because He first loved us. When you fall in love with someone, you can't control it. You start talking and acting different, and that's how it is when you get filled with the Holy Spirit. Time is running out in this world and people need Jesus before it's too late. There's no more time for fooling around. If you want God's best, you need to focus on Jesus. The world and its desires are passing away, but the person who does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:17

When this man sings he is free.

I love this song too. I don't want to go by old tradition. I want to stand out and be bold and be an example leading others to Christ!

Give me rules
I will break them
Give me lines
I will cross them
I need more than a truth to believe
I need a truth that lives, moves, and breathes
To sweep me off my feet
It ought to be
(CHORUS)
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love
Give me words
I'll misuse them
Obligations
I'll misplace them
'Cause all religion ever made of me
Was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet
It never set me free
It's gotta be
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love
It's like I'm falling in love, love, love
Deeper and deeper
It was love that made
Me a believer
In more than a name, a faith, a creed
Falling in love with Jesus brought the change in me
It's gotta be
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love
It's gotta be
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love
It's like I'm falling, oh
I'm falling in falling
It's like I'm falling

@kyleh0122 Oh I didn't notice that. I didn't even know they made capos like that. Crazy!
5 dislike wdf! they must b the one who doesnt believe in God! ok... but God still luv them even tho...

Don't try to change, don't desperately try to follow the rules. Chase after Jesus, revel in His love, and He will change you.
ok...found it eventually a Taylor 714CE, nice!
Anyone know what model guitar and what woods it has? Really great sound
Depends what you listen to, there's loads of different genres :)
Amen ( =
@SonicFan30000 of course!! and I have one question friend.....what does it mean to live under grace?
@xSoulSearcherx
That is exactly how I felt when I heard it. Religion had turned me against the
whole concept.....forget rhetoric...love never fails:-)))
THANK YOU JASON GREY ---> YOU just told the story of at least 5 billion people! (don't quote me on that -- it's a guss)
Thanks to K-LOVE what's your phone number could publish here so I can call in??
I've never seen anyone play E minor like he does. It's strange. haha Awesome song though. Praise God!
What type of guitar is he playing? and how does he do all that extra licks, rhythm, and beats while playing
Ask and ye shall receive! I asked Jesus to show me my pride and dishonesty, and He did. Then I asked Him to remove it. I would check out The Afters and their song Light U8 the Sky and Every Good Thing. Both are awesome songs without being overly "churchy".
@MegaHidude123 not sure what you mean by that. But my first impression of that comment is confusing.
