    But GWA Used this For Pacific National and Aurizon But Glencore Used Bylong Valley And XSTRATA Used Lochingvar instead Of using This line 4:32

    92's and 93's are like advanced versions of the NR'S but not as good at hauling intermodals in my opinion. Keep your videos coming 👍

      Thanks Gary! I have gotten better ones years ago but they are a bit more "serious" now! The hoppers are flood loaded by a auto loader, so it gets them pretty even!

    Awesome catches there Gregg! I have always wondered how they disconnect on the fly like that. I would hate to be the guy bending over trying to pull the uncoupling lever. Cheers, Danny

      Thanks Danny! The last coupler is rigged not to lock, so all they do is back off and it opens...that easy! BNSF us "Helper Link" to do it differently , but they keep the couplers locked as they push different trains...these are all the same unit trains.

    I think I saw some draw bars between cars instead of couplers. If so, how many cars make up a set? If not, please ignore this comment. Thanks.

      Yes you did!! It depends on the company, some have pairs and others in sets of 3 or 5. Most of the ones I saw were in pairs.

    Great video, very fascinating how the train breaks apart without stopping, I unfortunately have that happen on my layout with a boxcar that has a high coupler. Lol. So the locomotive engineer has a button to push, or a bar on the front of the locomotive to activate the coupler? How’s the arm doing? Can’t wait to see the updates on the layout. It’s been a mild summer so far here in Nebraska. Cheers from Terry in Nebraska.

      Thanks again Terry! No fun when they break apart when you don't want it ..LOL . We have nothing fancy like BNSF's "Helper Link" down here....the last coupler on the coal cars is set up not to lock , so the helpers back off slowly and that coupler opens! Sorry to disappoint you sir! My thumb is much better and I'm pretty much back to normal so work can begin again on the layout, so an update will be along soon!

    Hey, Gregg. My question has nothing to do with railroading, modeling or actual, but since you're Australian, you would know the answer to it. Is it true that in 1941, the Japanese attacked the city of Darwin by air, as well as other other cities in northern Australia? Cheers, Joe.

      Hi Joe, yes the Japanese did bomb Darwin many times and in fact , my late father was in the Navy and fought the Japanese throughout the war in the Pacific. He also met Mc Carthur and went to Hiroshima after the bomb! Many locals were relieved that the war was over and my dad visited Japan twice in his retirement and loved the people and the country! The Japanese also sent several mini submarines into Sydney Harbour to place mines onto Warships , but none reached their targets and many were found sunk with dead crew inside. My city of Brisbane also had air raid shelters and some are still there today!

    Excellent video again Gregg. Are the 92,93 and tt loco's all pretty much the same type of loco's? I guess they are all GE loco's?

      Thanks again John! Yes the 92 and 93 are the same GE locos , AC traction at around
      4300 hp. All very quiet and boring...LOL
