The most important thing I’ve been learning from you is how to connect the melody in rhythm/riff playing. When I listen to your playing the chord phases connect to form a melody line. You make the riffs blend into a continuous sound. I’m working on that in my playing. Thanks again. Kirk
It is amazing how simple this information is, but how long it has taken for me to actually process and organize the information to a point where I can actually utilize it with control. One of these days soloing over the actual chords being played will finally be "easy" for me. Sick lesson as always.
That was a beautiful bit of playing at the start, Marty. Not just the right shapes, notes, tempo (all with your own subtle variations) but exactly the right blend of swagger and tenderness-even while sitting on a sofa. Brilliant. I particularly loved the part where you kicked on a pedal and, having slightly dropped out of time, came back in with a little adjustment, never missing a beat. Im left handed acoustic. Are Electric I am I am disabled I'm trying to find someone but may have an old acoustic Electric I had a stroke and now I need to work on dexterity hand eye coordination you could find someone I really need a beginner so that I can learn to play again I can't buy one I am disabled and I do not have the money I need to buy
i must be doing something wrong....regardless of gear, volume, etc. i can NEVER get that kind of tone (or any decent tone for that matter)!!!! i always sound like poo.
You're jumping around much too fast for me, unfortunately. If this is how quickly you hop from half-formed example to another idea, I'll never keep up with the lesson. How about something for advanced beginners/intro intermediates?

How many people play guitar for 20 years learning other people's songs and then when you get into a sound booth get LOST 🤌🤣🤦♂️
