I can relate I dont own a bus myself, but Im building my 59 deluxe sedan as an off higheay only toy,,wont be DOT LEGAL...Race ready with the saftey and performance goodies, will be wearing a 5000 lbs minimum winch with ability to be mounted front or rear as needed,,slowly coming together,,,my birth year bug...1600 single port for now, eventualy will go IRS Rear...
Wow that was pretty damn smooth. I tried shooting a following shot of my old Chrysler 5th Ave out of the sunroof of my mom's Honda Odyssey one time for a student film. It was on an old paved road in the woods but it wasn't nearly as smooth as this. I'd love to know what this glidecam setup consists of.
Thanks! Yeah, that was me....standing in the back of my doublecab, my copilot Rex at the helm. I was strapped to the rear of the roof rack, and used a Glidecam HD400 stabilizer, PIX200, and Sony HVR-Z5U. Very uncomfortable and challenging but exhilarating!
Thanks! But are you drooling as a side-effect of the nausea caused by the excessive movement in the glidecam footage? Glad you like it....actually, now that I see it again, I wanna do more!

Correct! It actually became so voluntarily - bay owners (and there are many on the trip) decided it looked better keeping it all split.
How fucking awesome is this....

Wow. Great vid. Was someone parked on the roof rack with a camera rig of sorts? I could make out some kind of steady cam in a brief shadow....
