We always include prices in our videos to give people an idea of the costs, if they would like to dine there. Unfortunately, with inflation, those prices can change often lol, but at least it gives a general idea. Thank you for watching, and for your kind words, we really appreciate it :)
I watched this with my coffee at 7:00 a.m. ! Nice to see you had warmth and sunshine, as it's chilly, rainy and windy here today. The video brought back fond memories of the years I lived there. The streets, art galleries and most of the restaurants you dined at were favorites - Sotto Sotto, Yamato, Bar Reyna (had different name and mgmt. then) and of course, the rooftop at Hemingway's in summer. Have not been to Cafe Boulud in Toronto, but always enjoy Sunday brunches at the Montreal location. Those cocktails you had were a visual delight, and I'm sure they tasted as good as they appeared! Thanks for yet another amazing video:)
We had such a great time eating our way around Yorkville, although our clothes seem to be fitting tighter lol. As you know, it's such a lovely area of the city and there are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from. Thank you for watching Lili :)
The Teppanyaki at Yamato was not only really delicious, it was also very entertaining and a lot of fun! We had a lot of great food while making this video. Thanks for watching :)
It is such a great place to go for a cocktail or grab a bite to eat. The view is absolutely beautiful from the terrace, overlooking the city. Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it :)
Next time you visit Toronto please try Hotel X on the shores of Lake Ontario. Beautiful hotel with a magnificent rooftop patio and restaurants. My wife and I have stayed at every hotel in Toronto that you have and Hotel X Lakefront Resort is by far the our favorite 5 star property.
We've had drinks on the rooftop patio at Hotel X, but haven't stayed there yet. Thanks for the recommendation, we'll have to give it a try! Also, thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)
Thank you so much for watching, and for your kind words Joe, we really appreciate it! There are so many great places to eat or have a drink with friends in Yorkville. And of course, the shopping options are endless. It's also a wonderful neighbourhood to just go for a stroll. Thanks again :)
The golden dream cocktail sounds delightful. The calamari sounds lovely. Carbonara? Sign me up! Yum! What beautiful Victorian homes! Beautiful porches and Ferrari's haha! Wow! Definitely high end for sure. Lovely video! :) Thank you for sharing with us! Ps- you are an incredible narrator! :)
Thanks for watching! We did have some amazing food, and drinks lol, in Yorkville. The houses there are lovely, although crazy expensive. Thank you for your kind words :)
Great video! The first place you went to with the middle eastern food looked fantastic. That rooftop bar at the Park Plaza wow! Some great places to try!
Amal is such a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious! We went to the Park Hyatt's Rooftop bar quite a few times for a drink, and we really love the view. Yes, you'll have to give some of them a try :)
I like exploring Yorkville. My Mom and I dined at a restaurant there, can't remember the name but I would know it to see it. We had a nice fish dinner that we both enjoyed.
Yorkville is such a beautiful place to wander around and explore! There are such a great selection of restaurants there, and you can find all types of tasty food. Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)
Hi Tom and Mike, you always present the best! I will save this video as a reference for the next time we come to Toronto. Toronto is such a wonderful city. Thank you for another great video, love Gioia. xo
Hi Gioia, hope you are doing well! We had a great time eating our way through the Yorkville neighbourhood. It is quite beautiful, although fairly expensive. Thanks for watching :)
We really did find some great places to eat in Yorkville! We had a lot of delicious food, some of it quite expensive, and some much more reasonable. Yorkville is a beautiful neighbourhood :)
In the midst of that gorgeous first restaurant (I can’t remember the name), I couldn’t help but spot my favourite store “Homesense “🙈… I’m hoping to visit the Royal Ontario Museum this summer. The views on that rooftop bar though … especially the nighttime view😍😍😍.
Haha, we noticed the Homesense and Winners sign too, when we were editing the video. It's kind of surprising that they are there amongst all the really high end designer shops. We have shopped in that store though, and were glad they were close by.
@@TakeTimeToTravel I’m not surprised at all about Homesense right there because there is always something way too cute in Homesense. I was amused though, like you both, about the Winners being there with all those designer shops for sure…. I guess everyone appreciates good deals😄💁🏾♀️
I used to work there!!! Miss your videos - its been 3 weeks since your last upload :( I know you cant travel weekly but I would love to see some videos of day to day life with you guys, or cooking at home kind of videos. Hope to see a new one soon :)
Hey Matt, where did you used to work? Haha, we have been taking a bit of a break, but we are working on more videos and should have one out later this week. Thanks for noticing and reaching out. Cheers :)
Toronto has so many great restaurants with amazing food! We always have an amazing time exploring different areas and trying the wonderful restaurants. It's a good thing we walk a lot every day to help keep the pounds off lol. Thanks for watching :)
Hi my friend. Thanks for the great video you shared with us. very interesting Really nice movie Thanks for sharing it. please stay logged in .💓💝, 💞,,💝.💕,. 💞,,💖.
I'm from another time when a slightly run-down Yorkville was Canada's largest hippie community, and the starting point for Canadian musicians like Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot and Neill Young. There were many American draft dodgers in the 'Ville also. It was a great place to solidify you identity with your generation. You need to acknowledge the past to glorify the present.
Great Review > Awesome Job guys . And love how you listed the Prices there !!! . Now we know Which Restaurants to Avoid ! Pretty much anything Downton is a Rip Off Garbage !
The Yorkville area is such a beautiful neighbourhood, and we enjoyed going there on our daily walks. It certainly isn't a cheap area to live in, though. We did get to have some really great food, but I have to admit, my favourite was the fish and chips at Hemingway's lol. Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it :)
