  • Finally Spawn and Batman appear in the same box with this 2 pack from the Todd McFarlane Greg Capullo Spawn Batman Batman Spawn Comics. Mostly being reused parts of Throne spawn and Year two batman, how do these versions hold up to others such as Shadow of spawn, nightfall batman, hush batman, mortal combat spawn, and others.

    If there was a perfect set for a revamped classic spawn, this was it. They could eat least used Kickstarter spawn with this new cape

    I'm all in on this 2 pack. Even got Jay C to ask ol Toddy Mac if he'd do a Batman vs Spawn 2 pack so this is pretty awesome for me. Hope he does a Spawn hamburger head variant with the Batarang in his face lol or the shoe laces to stitch back his face. Such a 90s comic and so dang fun

      1000 percent the hamburger head with the batarang that’s never been done!! That would have been killer.

      @joshuakincade8896 I pre-ordered this release date is August for me. My only negative is the one gauntlet spike isn't on the glove. 9.5/10.

    The “big boot” Spawn design by Greg Capullo has been Spawn’s look since issue 32, which came out in 1995. Again, wrong look for this box set, but not a “2000s” design.

    Interchangable heads is a good idea when trying to go for a crazy overdone expression, that way if it turns out like crap you have a neutral one to swap with.

    if they had put this out ages ago I'd have bitten, but now i have three different spawns and no need of another, especially when i can just get a third party cape for cheaper than the set and fix up one of my spare spawns. Definitely a sick set though.

    • @Scoopman_5000
      @Scoopman_5000  Год назад

      Yeah i think it will age better as an in box item its more about the story of the set than the actual figures.

    If I get this I would only want it for the Spawn figure because as you said it would be the definitive Spawn figure we would have gotten up to this point since the new Spawn line returned again. Knowing Todd, he will probably release this as a single carded figure down the road. I’m thinking of just waiting it out.

    Hey could you help me with something? So on nearly every McFarlane spawn figure in the last two years, the ball sockets have stress marks on them. Even on the new large scale Monolith. I am asking if you would be kind enough to check this Spawn for me before I go and spend $50 on this two pack? Just pop the arm out of the shoulder and you may or may not see whitish markings near the socket indentations on each side. Thank you for your time.

    2:00 that's actually Todd's art (it's from a panel in the 90s Spawn/Batman comic). But yeah, I don't think they should've done the angry face for this Batman figure. Great review!

    Why is it always something, either his cape is too small, chains dont hang, comes with a half of cape, or both. With this one, his gauntlet doesnt fully go around his forearm
    I do like this though, thanks for showing this off. I like the comic book references at the end
