Stephanie, I'm so sorry about the bad news of severe structural issues in both the chateau as well as the chapel! I wish I had means to contribute to restoring the structural soundness, however, as a senior citizen on a fixed income, I do not at this time. Prayers things hold together long enough to get reinforcements together. So happy for you to have such caring and artistic friends surrounding you with love and support! Well that turned out to be a lot of fun. There may be some set backs but the chateau has stood for hundreds of years and will continue to do so. Just an unexpected glitch but not the end of the world.

I felt in my bones that you would show a tree decoration video today and finally woke up before the rain to get all my Christmas decorations out and decorated my tree partially while watching this video. Brings me such joy. I’ve enjoyed you’re videos since the start of the pandemic and will be joining patrion today to help how I can with the issues going on. I’m so thankful for how your channel has helped me find joy is the past few hard years. I’ve also made my house into a home I love and feel joy looking at it with the inspiration from you. I made bows for our tree when my kids were young. They were beautiful. The tree looked beautiful, I had all matching decorations and the rapping paper matched it too. His gifts were one color and her's were a different color.
Kindness and creativity seem to go hand in hand at Lalande. Always someone/s to do some cheering up when one of the group is "down". Nothing seems to dampen the spirit that constantly rises to the fore, and surely, solutions will be found to the just-discovered problems that periodically plague old houses, old buildings - by their very nature, subject to significant and oft inconvenient care & repair. It will happen. Will turn out all right. It is after all, a time of year in which we demonstrate our faith. More and more, I witness Lalande drawing to her, the very people who are destined to protect and keep her. May it continue to be so.

Yay Christmas at the Chateau! I am actually feeling excited for this Christmas. I am a solo mumma to 5 children 14 years to 4. Last year we were homeless, the year before that we had just moved house (3 days prior) I have been able to really decorate this year. Love seeing all the pretty things! Stephanie, hold faith and love that everything is going to work out in its own good timing. Take a deep breath and one step at a time.

Well that turned out to be a lot of fun. There may be some set backs but the chateau has stood for hundreds of years and will continue to do so. Just an unexpected glitch but not the end of the world.

I felt in my bones that you would show a tree decoration video today and finally woke up before the rain to get all my Christmas decorations out and decorated my tree partially while watching this video. Brings me such joy. I’ve enjoyed you’re videos since the start of the pandemic and will be joining patrion today to help how I can with the issues going on. I’m so thankful for how your channel has helped me find joy is the past few hard years. I’ve also made my house into a home I love and feel joy looking at it with the inspiration from you. I made bows for our tree when my kids were young. They were beautiful. The tree looked beautiful, I had all matching decorations and the rapping paper matched it too. His gifts were one color and her's were a different color.
Kindness and creativity seem to go hand in hand at Lalande. Always someone/s to do some cheering up when one of the group is "down". Nothing seems to dampen the spirit that constantly rises to the fore, and surely, solutions will be found to the just-discovered problems that periodically plague old houses, old buildings - by their very nature, subject to significant and oft inconvenient care & repair. It will happen. Will turn out all right. It is after all, a time of year in which we demonstrate our faith. More and more, I witness Lalande drawing to her, the very people who are destined to protect and keep her. May it continue to be so.

I am a solo mumma to 5 children 14 years to 4. Last year we were homeless, the year before that we had just moved house (3 days prior)
